So, how goes it? ;D I hoped you liked the last chapter, but now I’m confused on what to write /: Blah, this sucks… Major writer’s block -_- And yeah, this chapter is kind of short, but whatever…
I had too much to do /: So, next time I write a story, I’m going to finish it before I post it [: But, don’t give up on this story yet ;D
***At the end of the chapter is a preview for a new story I'm working on***
The Benefactor 25, Part 1
“M-Mordred’s niece?” I fumbled with my words, trying to comprehend what he had just said to me, “How is that possible? She must be hundreds of years old!”
William rolled his eyes at me, unaffected by all of stuff that had happened, “Don’t worry, she’s harmless. She doesn’t even know she’s Mordred’s niece, and that’s a good thing.”
“Then why does it matter if she’s Mordred’s niece?” I huffed angrily, pissed off that he manipulated me into thinking that her family had some major importance, “Mr. Knight! What the hell.”
“Liv, just breathe a minute,” He chuckled, catering to my bloody palm, “…You should seriously stop being jealous. It’s getting you hurt.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, “I’m not jealous!” I blurted it in the most jealous voice, and that didn’t exactly help my case. “I’m-I’m-“
“Just calm down a second, Liv,” He chuckled once again, nipping at my nerves and patience, “I know what you were thinking… And no, it’s nothing like that.”
I thought back to my jealousy towards her, ‘Miss Everett’, and I thought about how I felt when I saw her intruding in our little moment. Yeah, jealous I was, but who could blame me? He dealt with plenty of students…Female students. Call me paranoid, but I worried about that moment when some model- or whatever- came walking in the chemistry classroom with her uniform two sizes too small and her bleach blond hair stiffly straight…But when would that actually happen? No, I was plain worried about nothing- just territorial, you might say.
“I know,” I agreed with him, scratching the bandage for no reason, “So, what are we going to do now? I think the moment has been broken.”
“Yeah, it has,” He glared towards the door, scanning outside for students, “And people are starting to get to class, so we should act normal.”
I smirked, “When has our lives ever been normal?”
“Yours…Until I stole you away from Florida,” He grinned, childishly eyeing like I was candy, “…Today’s going to be tough.”
“I hear you,” I sighed, agreeing with how we would have to act.
Student.
Teacher.
A definite line between the two, and I was hesitant on what to do. Mainly because I loved him and there had only been a few occurrences when we were forced to be that…
“Now, grab those beakers and look busy,” He demanded out of nowhere, “Hurry, Miss Cooper.”
I squinted at him viciously, “Yeesh, Mr. Knight. I’m injured, and I am clearly unable to carry boxes of beakers.”
He broke through the harsh expression on his face into another smirk just as he opened the door for me, “Now, Olivia, try not to break anything else in this classroom. I know how prone you are to spontaneously flinging body parts around.”
I swung around to give him and odd look, “What? That made no sense.”
“It did actually,” A voice from beside us said cunningly.
