I've been sooo busy lately that I'm surprised that I finished this... Haha, well... It's kind of short, and I'm trying to work on the length >_< That part is so frustrating, especially when I write all of this on my iPod Touch... And I can't really tell how long it is until I transfer it to Word... Lalala, well here it is :D

Chapter 6

I followed Mason inside to the main concourse of the school, watching his dark hair bounce every step he took and I smiled to myself. How did I end up here at this exact moment? It seemed like fate that I'd met Mason on the plane, when I thought things couldn't possibly get worse that moving away. But I guess I found something- someone- that would make this while idea a little easier to cope with. He had my back, so far, and I wondered what I did to deserve him.

He was my angel. Not that I actually he was a guardian angel, but he did have that mysterious vibe

"AP politics is just down the hall," He directed me to G-hall, the government hall, specifically room 5.

Yes, I realized that since it said it on my schedule, I thought. Do you mind helping me there, you know, like my actual angel?

I mentally slapped myself, and remembered how lucky I was to finally have a new friend. And I wasn't going to lose him over some dumb discussion. Wait, what was I even talking about?

All of a sudden, I was cranky and in a crappy mood, unlike two seconds ago. Yes, this school was already starting to change me into a typical, hormone crazed teenager, and I had somehow let my guard down to that fact. Five years I had succumbed to becoming that unhappy teenager, and now I was living it. It didn't make sense. Everything was changing this year. Everything.

"I'm going to go ahead and get whatever I need," I told him, turning around to walk backwards while still facing him.

"Alrighy, I'll be there in a minute," He ruffled the end of my hair, "See you there, Liv."

I spun back around to watch where I was going, but I ran into someone, knocking my head into his chest. His firm, muscular chest. Immediately, I knew who I ran into, and I hoped that my mind wasn't messing with me- in case it wasn't.

I didn't bother to look at him. Because I already knew who it was, I wanted him to make the first move, but he didn't. My faced steamed that he just let me stand there like an idiot with my face buried in his chest. He smelled familiar and felt familiar, and I glared up at him, forgetting about letting him make the first move. Mr. Knight smirked at me, pushing me away with his left arm.

"Ah, Olivia, where are you headed?" William chatted with me.

"Oh, just AP politics," I blurted.

"That takes me by surprise; you don't seem like a politician," He snickered slightly, "So why exactly are you taking that class?"

"Um, well," I drifted off, not wanting to tell him the real reason, "I did it to rebel."

He raised an eyebrow at me, "Rebel?"

"Yeah, as in 'I didn't want to move here'," I explained, adding some air quotes to prove a point, "What other reasons would I have to rebel?"

"Um, I don't know," He paused, absorbing our conversation, "So that's why you took German..."

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I pursed my lips at him, "Do you stalk my brain? Because I didn't tell you any of that."

"No, but you told on yourself about the Politics, so I just assumed."

"You know what happens when you assume..." I trailed off, mentioning the cheesy saying.

"Yes, I'm very much aware of that," He smirked, "And I'm not that."
