So, I don't have an idea for this, but it gives you some vital information on Will! :D haha, I'll try better next time, but his chapter is basically a long conversation. Not too much detail /: Bleh.

Chapter 17

"You scared me half to death!" William yelled at me in front of the students lingering in the courtyard. He lowered his voice, "I thought I lost you."

By then, I retraced my steps and found my way back to the school safely, but I tried to avoid Will because of this. He was too protective of me, and it made me feel less safe around people like Shane and Knoll- maybe Mason too.

"I'm sorry, but I wanted to find out more about the prophecy," I tossed my hair back, "I think I killed Shane."

"Who?" Will squinted, "Wait, killed?" His reaction took a sudden turn for the worst.

"Not on purpose!" I defended, "He told me to catch the cottage on fire. It's not MY fault."

He pulled me far away from the crown of students, "Who is this exactly?"

I clamped down on my lip a little too hard, "Shane Levi." The students didn't hear me. Otherwise, I'd be dead with their riots against me.

"Olivia! You could go to jail," His fingers weaved through his silky hair in distress, "No, no, you're not going to jail."

I brushed his hair out of his hurt eyes, "Ooh, have you done something different with your hair?" Off topic, I know.

"What? No!" He spoke flustered, "That's not important now. We really need to figure out if he's still alive."

"No way in hell!" I clicked, noticing some kids staring at my outburst, "Knoll will kill me."

"How do you know?"

"He wants something," I said vaguely, "Something I lost. Or didn't have in the first place."

"You were making a deal with him?" Will flipped, tossing his arms up in surrender, "What the hell, Liv?"

"Er, not exactly," I managed to say, "Shane lured me out there to give Knoll a key." I finished telling him the entire story, the full and entire truth.

He gave me a funny look, "Key to the basement? Why'd he want that?"

"Avalon's down there? Maybe he wants to release Arthur himself."

"Or release Mordred," Will whispered to himself, and I contemplated on whether to ignore the comment or ask more.

"Mordred lives in Avalon?" I persisted on attaining as much information I could, "I don't remember that from any of the books. Am I missing something?"

Will's face bleached into a pale white and froze with his eyes bugged out and his ears curling up. Something I said flipped his entire world upside down, but something unsaid kept him from being ignorant to what I just slipped up and said.

"William Knight, tell me what's wrong," I commanded, "Why are you so worried about me knowing anything."

"It's-it's nothing," He gulped, "Don't worry about it. It's nothing."

He reiterated the same words until I shook his shoulders, "It is something! Tell me, please!"

"I can't," He reminded me of that day I saw the medieval looking man telling me 'I can't'.

"The hell you can!"

"Watch your language, Liv," He lowered his voice, "People can hear you when you're screaming at me."
