A month and a half had passed since the SEVENTEEN Be The Sun Tour kicked off in North America. Soonyoung had come to visit her immediately after he arrived back in Seoul following their concert at Newark, New Jersey.

He looked tired and jet-lagged but he insisted on seeing her as soon as the plane landed.

The members had roughly a week to rest and relax before the Asian leg of the tour would kick off on the 24th. They were scheduled to leave for Jakarta in 2 days, the 22nd.

On every single day of those rest days, Soonyoung was with Tessa. They stayed mostly at the Han mansion however he took her to Minkyung and their parents’ house as well.

Yes, Tessa had met the Kwons.

While Soonyoung was on tour, Minkyung insisted on introducing her to the ‘rents.

After all, they would be seeing a lot of each other.

Their lives were so interlaced by now that it seemed like a Gordian knot: Soonyoung and Tessa were together, Hyun and Minkyung were dating, Tessa and Minkyung were basically besties, the Han twins and Soonyoung were decade-long buddies.

Presently, Tessa scrolled through her phone. Her other hand was fiddling with her tiger pendant. Nothing on soc med really caught her attention.

She was thinking more about recent events and how life had a funny way of working out. She was thinking about the time that she took off from work.

In these few days cooped up with Soonyoung, Tessa had missed the trainees. She had to prioritize though as it was only for a short time.

Officially, she did not have to report to work every day neither did she have a specific 9 to 5 work day though she followed her own routine for the last two years of reporting to the company for meetings and such and supervising the trainees afterwards.

She smiled inwardly. What a blessed life she led.

Beside her, Soonyoung was asleep on her bed. He was snoring lightly.

Poor tiger, he must have been so worn out by the fast paced life of touring. And in a couple days it would start again albeit on a slower pace now.

The Asian leg was much more forgiving, at least.

In between tour dates, there were around 4 days before the next show. Which meant that the members could have, at a minimum, a few hours to a day to explore the city that they were in.

Except that in between the Bangkok and Manila tour dates, Soonyoung would have to fly back to Seoul for Hwan’s wedding on the 6th of October. On the morning of the 7th, he would have to fly to Manila and meet the members there.

Tessa smiled. She was planning a surprise for him. She had chartered a flight that would take her to Manila as soon as the wedding ended. She planned on being the one to greet him at NAIA arrivals.

She just needed a reason to step away from him a little earlier at the reception. She may have to ask for Minkyung-unnie’s help with it.

“Morning, baby.” Soonyoung yawned. “Wait, what time is it?” He looked around the room. The heavy blackout curtains were drawn and no one could really tell night from day.

“It’s 8pm KST on the 20th, baby.”

Soonyoung leaned forward and kissed Tessa on the lips. “Good evening, then.”

“Are you hungry? I can make Gyoza and Gyudon. Or maybe Gyukatsu?”

“Lol, don’t remind me that Gyu means beef in Japanese.”
