Tessa opened the doors to her home to see Soonyoung standing there in the doorway. Behind him, the three musketeers were right there waving at her, just as Wonwoo had promised they would be.

“Baby!” Soonyoung called, with open arms. Tessa ran directly into those toned, muscular arms and jumped onto him. The idol caught her with ease and spun her around. “Missed me?”

“So much!” Tessa breathed into his neck. “How was the flight?”

“We slept through most of it.” Soonyoung answered, he and the guys had just arrived in Seoul and had gone straight to Tessa’s place.

The three slowly sidestepped and entered the lobby, looking away and giving the couple their privacy.

“And just like that, three idols have become chopped liver.” Vernon joked. Junhui held in a laugh as Wonwoo smirked.

“I have company with me, baby. Hope you don’t mind.” Soonyoung said, as he gently placed Tessa down..

“Of course not! I’m glad they’re here. Maybe we can continue our karaoke and dance sessions, eh?” Tessa smiled.

Wonwoo winked at Tessa subtly. He had suggested that in the GC, on their way to the Han mansion.
“I hear you have a theatre room, Tessa?” Junhui asked.

Tessa nodded. “Shi, Da Ge. Ni xiang kan ma?”  (Yes, big bro. Would you like to see it?)

Junhui nodded. “Qing.” (Please.)
“Lead the way, please.” Vernon requested. “I don’t know what you just said Tessa but I’m assuming you invited us to see it?”

Tessa giggled. “Right this way, my lords.” She grabbed Soonyoung’s hand and led them all into the elevator.

As the three boarded, Soonyoung snuck in a kiss. “There. Finally.” He and Tessa boarded the elevator as well.

They exited it and turned to the right.

“Welcome to the theatre room.” Tessa presented.

Junhui ran straight for a seat in the front. Vernon followed suit. Wonwoo walked calmly and sat between the two. Soonyoung and Tessa took up the seats behind them.

Wonwoo took out his phone and typed into the GC, making sure to keep his phone low so Soonyoung couldn’t see anything.

Tessa heard the notification and stood up. “I’m just going to the little girl’s room, baby.” She told Soonyoung. “Go ahead and choose which movie you want to watch. Or if you want, you could start playing karaoke songs. Feel free, okay?”

Soonyoung kissed Tessa on the lips. “Alrighty, baby. Hurry back.”
Tessa quickly took out her phone as soon as she was out of  the room.

Every1_woo: Tessa, you and Soonyoung-hyung should go somewhere private so you can discuss the thing with him.  The three of us will be here to help you after.

Every1_woo: If you ever need it, that is.

Every1_woo: I’m pretty sure Soonyoung-hyung won’t be mad at you. In fact, he’ll appreciate that you were honest right at the start.

Pledis_Tessa: Right, oppa. Okay, here goes nothing.

Pledis_Tessa: Kamsahamnida.

Tessa then dialed Soonyoung’s phone as she walked the opposite way towards the pool.

The idol answered on the second ring. “Yeoboseyo?” (Hello?)

“Baby? Come meet me at the pool area, please.” Tessa said on the phone.

“Is everything alright?” Soonyoung motioned to the three that he would be stepping out of the room as he ran towards the pool.

“Of course it is, baby. Please just come meet me here okay?”

Before Tessa could hang up, Soonyoung was in front of her. Concern and worry were written all over his face. “Baby, is everything alright?” The idol asked again.

Tessa smiled as she led him towards the chairs. “Yes, everything is fine. There’s just something I need to speak to you about in private.”

Soonyoung looked Tessa straight into her eyes and smiled. “Are we pregnant?”

Tessa punched him. “Ugh, baby! Why do you keep asking me that at every turn?”

Soonyoung laughed. “Because! If we were, I would be the happiest person on the planet.”

“Let’s try to follow tradition and get married first.”

“I mean, I respect our old ways and have so much respect for our elders. All I’m saying is that whichever route we take, It’s always going to be you. Whatever hardship we encounter, I’m never letting go of you.”

Tessa leaned in and lay her head on Soonyoung’s shoulder. “I feel exactly the same way. Which is why I was hoping to discuss this issue with you.”

“Issue? We have an issue?” Soonyoung looked completely bewildered.

Tessa sat up straight. “Baby, hear me out okay?”

The performance leader nodded.
“Remember those dreams I told you about?”

“Those nightmares you keep telling me are nothing?”

Tessa grinned. She knew he knew it was more than nothing. “Yes, those. Well, the truth is that those dreams were more like messages from the person that I was in my past life.”

Soonyoung stayed silent and continued to encourage her to speak up.

“I really do believe that I was Deuk-im in my past life.”

“Deuk-im, as in Royal Noble Consort Uibin Seong? From the Joseon Dynasty in the 1780s?”
Tessa nodded.

“I see. So when you told me that you felt sadness, did you mean that you felt Deuk-im’s sadness?”

“Yes.”

Soonyoung blinked. “So you felt the sadness of a mother losing so many of her children?”

Tessa nodded again.

Soonyoung hugged her. “Baby, I’m sorry that you felt that kind of pain. Just think that these things happened in the past and don’t necessarily have anything to do with the soul of Tessa Han in this time period.”

“But what if her life is threatening to overlap with mine?”

“I’m not following.”

Tessa sat up and looked Soonyoung straight in the eyes. “Baby, remember that night when Mingyu came over to pick you up? There was a weird feeling that I got from him when he shook my hand. Not weird-bad but just unusual. That night, I started to have these dreams.”

“Okay?”

“Baby, Mingyu was Jeongjo.”

“I know Gyu is a Gwangsan Kim so that technically means he has royal blood but this is news to me.”

“Kwon Soonyoung, focus. I’m being serious here.”

“Baby, I understand what you’re trying to tell me.” Soonyoung took a deep breath. “Even if he was Jeongjo, he’s Mingyu now. It shouldn’t have anything to do with you and me.”

“He doesn’t see it that way.”

“What do you mean, baby?”

Tessa sighed. “He wants to continue Deuk-im and Jeongjo’s story.”

“Okay.” Soonyoung fell silent for a second. “That afternoon in Manila when you said you and Gyu had a conversation, was this what it was about?”

Tessa nodded. “Yes, baby. I told him I was not interested in reliving the past. But he seems pretty persistent.”

“It’s alright, baby. Let me have a talk with him.” Soonyoung reached out and hugged Tessa again. “Don’t worry about it, okay? It’s all going to be alright.”
