𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Cassidy was in the office today, she needed some space from her home life. So Bella was spending the day with her grandma today. It felt good to be away from the house and the chaos that came with it. But that peace came to a stop when she was soon interrupted by her phone ringing, it was Dave.

"Baby." she said rubbing her face.

"Mama you busy?" he asked sounding off, the tone was enough for Cassidy to know something happened.

"No why?" she questioned.

"You can pick up Bellz? I gotta do sum real quick."

"Yeah I can. Everything okay?"

"I'll explain when you get home."

He hung up causing her to frown, she got up and started to pack her things away. She managed to pick up Bella from her grandmas pretty quickly. Cassidy over thought a lot so her mind was racing on what the problem could be.

"Right let's go see daddy." she sighed picking Bella up out of her car seat.

She unlocked the door and walked in, Dave was sitting on the steps with his head in his hands.

"Baby go play." she said putting Bella down

She nodded and waddled over to her toy box. Cassidy set her purse down before walking over. She stood between his legs, attempting to see if she was okay.

"Baby what happened?" she asked lifting his head.

"She od'd again." he mumbled with his eyes still closed.

Cassidy sighed, her mind instantly going to whether
Chelsea and Cameron were okay or not. She hadn't overdosed in a little while, which they assumed was good but clearly it meant something bad was around the corner.

"Is she okay or is she back in hospital?"

"Back in hospital. They keeping her in for a couple of days."

"What did Cam say?"

"He ain't say nothing, he don't fucking need this. His finals are round the corner man." he sighed running his hands down his face.

"How long does he have left?"

"I think he said like a month." he said as he sat up straight.

There was only one option as Dave had already tried to transfer Cameron to online school. "You're going book a flight out there?"

Dave nodded his head. "Imma stay over there. Unless you not okay with it."

"Go, when's the flight?"

"One leaves tonight."

"Go book it, I'll pack you a bag." she said before quickly kicking off her heels so she could go up the stairs.

"You sure mama?" he asked and she nodded.

Cameron meant everything to the both of them and if he needed help or support that's what they were going to provide. Dave went to the living room to grab his laptop while Cassidy scooped up Bella and made her way upstairs.

"Let's take these off." she said helping Bella out of her clothes so she could sit on the bed.

She grabbed Dave's suitcase from the closet and started to fold up his clothes and gather his toiletries. Cassidy obviously didn't want to be without him for weeks. Especially now when they were planning their wedding. The wedding date was officially set for a few months away.

But this was more important, but Cassidy knew this was only the beginning. It wasn't going to be easy to try and get Cameron to settle and make a new home for himself. Not mentioning trying to get Chelsea into rehab.

"Flight leaves at eleven." Dave said as he entered the room.

"Okay. Um I packed most of your clothes. You wanna eat before you go?"

He shook his head but she was going to cook anyway. Dave sat down and scooped up Bella kissing her cheeks. After some cuddles she fell asleep so
he put her in her room.
