𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁.

After a long day of cooking Cassidy was finally done. Tonight Aaliyah, Cameron's girlfriend was coming over for dinner, Cameron had never been so nervous. Dave was busy setting the table, he knew how protective his wife could be. He was hoping this wouldn't be one of those moments.

"Baby you want help?" he asked her again, when she was in the kitchen usually she'd kick everyone out.

"Just put those on the table please." she said pointing to the serving spoons.

He nodded and did so before walking over to her.
Dave arms wrapped around her waist before kissing her neck. "You gonna be nice?"

"I'm always nice." she frowned, both Cameron and Dave had been on her about being nice. She didn't know why, she didn't think of herself as a mean person.

"Mhm sure. Just remember you scary don't be scaring her off." Dave reminded her.

"Hold on David I'm not that bad." she said turning around to now face him.

"Don't be using my government." he said waving his finger in her face, Cassidy does it to him all the time.

"Then don't annoy me. I'm not scary." She said bending his finger back, he quickly yelped in pain and waved his finger around.

"Aight you not my fault." he said trying to kiss her.

She pushed him away making him chuckle. "I'm sorry I'm sorry." he mumbled kissing her again and again.

"Mommyyy....no dada." Bella said trying to push Dave away from her mom.

"She mine Booty." Dave said flicking her ear. My poor baby is going to be stuck with that nickname forever. She still sleeps with her butt in the air, which is how the nickname came about, but it's not the point.

"Nu uh my mommy." she said hugging Cassidy legs.

"Ignore him Booty." Cassidy said as she scooped her up. She kissed Bella, who then plopped her head on Cassidy and hugged her tightly.

Dave waved off the girls as they ignored him to focus on the food. It wasn't long before the front door opened and Cameron walked in with his girlfriend following nervously behind.

Bella darted over to greet Cameron since he's been out all morning. He leaned down and kissed her head as she hugged his leg. Her eyes looked over to Aaliyah who was standing there timidly.

She walked back over to the kitchen. Dave scooped her up and set her at the table, he mushed her cheeks since she was already mugging.

"Stop it." Dave said to her.

Cassidy finished setting the food down before laying over with a warm smile. The girl looked terrified already.

"Aaliyah nice to finally meet you." She said, Cassidy wasn't going to say I've heard a lot about you or anything cliche. Because in all honesty she knew nothing about her.

"You too." she ssid barely above a whisper.

Cassidy showed her to the dining room where they got seated. As they ate dinner both Dave and Cassidy tried to make conversation but it was like drawing blood from a stone. But Cassidy was putting it down to her being nervous.

Cameron face palmed himself, he was worried Cassidy and Dave would think she was being rude. But he knew Aaliyah and that she wasn't a nervous person. So he questioned what the problem was.
