Cassidy pulled her dress down and slipped her feet into her sandals. Her hair appointment was the last thing on her list as she'd already visited her nail girl, early early this morning.

"You ready for today?" she asked and Cameron nodded with a mouth full of cereal.

"I guess.....damn I gotta leave, imma be late." Cameron said quickly getting up.

"Good luck." she said kissing his head.

He grabbed his bag and ran out. Cassidy turned around to see Dave looking at her. She didn't even notice he had come down the stairs but he was just standing there. She snapped her fingers, snapping him back into reality.

"You want me to take y'all?" he asked.

"Yes please. You can pick me up at three?" she asked and he nodded.

"I'll even take you to lunch." he said kissing her.

"Yay!" Bella clapped happily, anything along the lines of lunch and dinner were her favourite words.

"We still ain't friends." he reminded her about yesterday's mishaps, Bella huffed and turned her head.

"See that right there? All you." Dave said, Cassidy couldn't argue Bella had picked up her attitude along the way.

Cassidy walked out of the salon with Bella in her arms. They both had freshly braided hair, Bella had singles with a few beads, her natural hair was now the perfect length fit the style. Bella was almost two so she was a lot better at sitting still to get her hair done. While Cassidy had knotless box braids that flowed to her butt.

They got into the car and Dave drove to the nearest olive garden since Cassidy was craving it.

"Say sorry dada." Cassidy encouraged as she picked up Bella to sit down in a booth.

"Sowwy." she said hugging his neck tightly.

"Mhm, you just want my breadsticks." Dave said shaking his head.

He handed the breadstick over and she took a giant bite before giving him a smile. Cassidy tried to hide her laugh because Dave looked devastated. Once he noticed Cassidy laughing he snatched her breadstick.

After lunch they headed home, there was a little traffic on the way back. Cassidy scrolled on her phone to pass some time. She opened her messages and sent a quick message to Cameron to check on how tryouts went.

"She a whole mess." she heard Dave say, Cassidy turned her head to see Bella fast asleep. Her head was dropped back and her mouth was open.

"She sleeps like you, so if she's a mess what does that make you?" Cassidy chuckled as she snapped a picture of Bella.

"You ain't have to day that." Dave sighed dramatically.

Fifteen minutes later they were home, since they had no other plans for the day they simply relaxed for the next couple of hours. Dave was watching some tv while Cassidy cleaned, which was like therapy to her.

Dave watched his wife move around the room. He's noticed little changes in her mood as well as her body. He tilted his head seeing her walk into the bathroom. Cassidy was only wearing underwear so the physical changes were a lot more visible. A small pudge sat on her belly and her boobs had gotten slightly bigger.
