Katsuki walked inside the classroom, as his eyes immediately fell on the greenhaired boy leaning on his arms with his eyes closed. Deku always seemed tired, Katsuki couldn't help, but worry about him.

He worried about some things Izuku would talk about, like how he didn't get enough sleep or about how he fell while playing. It made him wonder about the things Izuku didn't want to talk about.

They had been in each other's class for 4 years now and Izuku was the only friend Katsuki hadn't grown sick off yet. He wondered why, but oftenly put the question off, when he neared towards the answer.

He felt like he knew a lot about Deku's life, but but there was one thing the greenette had never talked about before.

"Did your mom ask about the scratches?"

Everytime the blond would mention the boy's home his expression would grow blank, not knowing what to say. As if he was thinking of what lie to answer with. Deku usually just changed the subject or answered with another question.

"Oh from that time we were playing in the field?"

"We should do that again"

It was always the same. It happened so often, the blond seemed to have gotten used to it. He didn't like to see Izuku's face twisted in that sad expression, so stopped asking.

He would always feel bad about Deku getting hurt everytime he played with him. The boys Katsuki would get along with were rough and tend to push the greenette around.

Izuku would always ask why the blond didn't play with the same boys anymore, as his answer would always be the same.

"I don't like them anymore"

"Why?" Izuku would ask, with that same lost expression on his face, unknowing he was the reason the blond changed friends every month. So he never got an answer.

Katsuki sat down next to the unmoving boy on the desk. He slowly moved his hand and hovered over Deku's hair. He easefully twisted his finger around the green locks, waiting for the other to react.

But the beautiful jade eyes stayed closed, clearly not feeling the blond's soft touch. Katsuki smiled softly as he noticed the greenette's peaceful deep breaths. When suddenly another hand made its way onto Deku's head.

"Owww" Izuku screamed out as he quikly jumped up looking for the hand that had pulled his hair so viciously. The boys next to him couldn't stop laughing.

"HAHAHAAHA I just thought you were a piece of broccoli on the desk" they all kept screaming out hilariously "You should've seen your face" some more kids started laughing.

After some seconds processing the situation, as he moved his hand over to the paining place on his head, he opened his mouth and started laughing too. Since that seemed to be the only way to react.

The only one who didn't laugh was the boy next to him, sitting in silence, facing the other way. Katsuki seemed angry.

He was the one who had first called Izuku a piece of broccoli while giggling. It first didn't seem like much harm, but now the blond's friends took every chance they got to yell it in the greenette's ears.

The blond had used it to mock Izuku a bit, only creating a smile on Izuku's lips. The whole class did it in a whole different way. He couldn't help but hate it. It made him question if maybe he should never have called Izuku that nickname.

As the laughter seemed to disappear, Izuku smile followed. After his face had returned back to his usual timid expression he faced to the blonde's side and hastily asked.

"What's wrong Kacchan?"

The blonde didn't answer, didn't even seem to be thinking of one. So Izuku just turned back to the front, as class almost seemed to begin.

The boys in the class always seemed to follow Katsuki's lead and it had started to grow into a problem. He couldn't keep Izuku close to him, without him getting hurt.

"Good morning class, today we're going to be learning about the second genders, Alpha, Beta and Omega" the teacher began talking and explained what almost every student in the classroom had already talked and thought about.

"I'm definitely going to be an alpha, like my dad" one of the boys screamed out after class, as they had just started to walk outside.

"Me too, both my parents are Alpha's, so there's not even a doubt" a tall boy pushed the other's statement's worth down.

"You too, right Kacchan?" Izuku tried to bring up the blonde's spirits. Katsuki looked up and seemed to nod softly. He still seemed angry, Izuku wondered why.

"Didn't the teacher say you don't even have an alpha parent?" The tall boy yelled while pointing at the shortest of the group. Making the whole class turn around to look at him.

Izuku's face flushed as his hands seemed to tremble. "Ummm.." he brought out, but failed miserabely as he tried words.

"You'll probably end up an omega" he laughed out, as the kids all remembered them being at the bodem of society. "If I turn out an alpha, don't come to me alright?" He brought out laughing, as the whole group around him followed, Izuku tried not to stumble over his words.

"You-you you don't know that" Izuku almost whispered out, as nobody heard "I could also turn out a beta" the whole play ground kept laughing, not even taking notice at the greenette's watering eyes and shaky voice producing words.

Except for one person

"Deku"

The person said, visibly not pleased, as he pulled at the greenette's arm, getting Izuku away.

Away from the screaming kids. Away from the laughter echoing even through the halls. Away from the boys who would always pick on easy targets.

As while walking, the blonde suddenly finally seemed to realize, he was the reason. So stopped in his tracks and looked back at the teary eyes.

It was him.

He was the reason Deku was an easy target.
