Katsuki looked outside the hospital window as he looked at the first moving thing through the glass. Again, he was hoping it would be the greenette and again he had been mistaken. Moreover Deku hadn't shown up even once after being discharged.

It made the alpha long towards the omega's scent, he could still remember so vividly. He felt his desire starting to rain again, the pouring seemed unstoppable, as the container was already full.

It was full of his hunger and longing, but now also filled with doubt and a bit of anger. Why hadn't the omega come even once? Everytime he had looked for an answer, he came back to the lingering scent of that bastard on Izuku's lips.

He could feel his blood boil only thinking that man had touched Izuku's lips, even more it might have even been his own.

The doubt grew day by day, only counting the days til he was going to be discharged. His heart held onto the idea of Deku having something really urgent or maybe forgetting, but the thought of the greenette still being scared creeped in his mind.

The worst part of it all was that if that was true he couldn't blame Deku. The omega had all right not to show up to the alpha's room, but Katsuki just wanted a true answer.

Not empty promises.

So as soon as the assistant had made him sign some papers, he rushed out of the hospital. He could hear the woman yell "Get home safe!" a bit awkwardly since the man seemed so rushed. As Katsuki's mind understood the words he could only think about how that wasn't his first destination.

He rang the doorbell and pricked up his ears to hear some small footsteps coming closer. A short figure opened the door with a confused expression.

"Deku"

That expression changed immediately to two terrified eyes as his hand holding the door started shaking. Katsuki watched the greenette's shivering palm and felt his heart sink.

Deku really was scared of him.

"Ka-Kacchan" Izuku mouthed almost completely silent, subtly leaving less space between the door. The alpha saw the greenette shutting himself away, so now pushed his hand on the wood in the other direction.

The door opened with a loud bang, due to the blonde's strength. Izuku could only watch his smaller still shaking hand on the door frame, realizing Katsuki had only just recovered and the difference in strength seemed bigger as ever. Izuku braced himself, as he bit his lip, knowing what would be coming.

Katsuki was going to yell in his ears or at least be really angry.

"Why" came from a soft voice instead, now filling Izuku's ears mixing with the soft rain that seemed to start falling. "Why didn't you keep your promise?" Katsuki asked, surprisingly looking down as the first raindrops fell in his blond spiky hair.

"I-I can't tell you" Izuku whispered, now also looking at the same tile on the floor. Katsuki saw some raindrops slipping down towards the ground, only to realize they had been tears.

"Why-why are you crying?" Katsuki asked now grabbing Izuku's cheeks softly and bringing his face in Izuku's vision. "Please you have to tell me" the blonde didn't move from his crouched position and tried to wipe away the tears "even more when it's worth this many tears"
