|24| Limited Adrenaline

As Katsuki was losing his last pieces of humanity, Izuku ran towards the door since that was the only thing he could think of. He banged on it with ALL his MIGHT, but it wouldn't budge.

"You're not getting out of there, bratt" Shigaraki yelled from the other side of the door. "I told you what would happen, so let me hear you scream!"

Izuku remembered the pale man's words as he stared at the knife at his feet. "Take it Deku!" a voice behind him yelled. It was Katsuki, even though he knew what was supposed to happen next. "NOW!"

Izuku picked it up and turned around to face the taller blond, holding the knife in front of him. "I-I can't do this Kacchan" Izuku stuttered out, almost losing grip of the object with his shivering hands. "I-I ca-can't"

"Then do it for me!" Katsuki yelled as he put his hands in his hair unable to fight the will in his mind. "I don't want to kill you" he screamed in agony.

"Please!"

"But Ka-" Izuku began, but couldn't finish his protest, as the other launched his body against his. "Oww" Izuku brought out as the sound of the knife tumbling over the cold floor filled his ears.

Katsuki had pinned the omega down bye his throat, showing off his sharp fangs, watering for flesh. Izuku stared at the knife now 2 feet away from him and felt his heart sink.

"You shouldn't have waisted your chance" he heard the other omega yelling from the hallway, as it filled with a devious laugh. "You're doomed now"

It's as if he had read Izuku's mind. The omega on the ground knew, he had lost his chance, so closed his eyes harshly in defeat, preparing for what was yet to come.

Katsuki's sharp teeth bit deep down into the tearing skin, now bleeding heavily. Izuku opened his eyes as he noticed, he hadn't felt the impact, only to see the alpha's arm gushing blood next to him.

Katsuki had bit his own arm, so it seemed the blond was still able to fight his mind with his last willpower. Izuku took the chance and got away from the alpha's now weakened grip.

The greenette's bloody trembling hands picked up the knife and held it out in front of himself again. The same pisition, same place, same knife. Katsuki had given him a second chance. As if it would make a difference against the taller feral alpha who had just stood up.

Kacchan was losing an insane amount of blood. Izuku noticed the disgustingly deep wound on the blonde's arm and felt a shiver going over his spine. What if that had been in his neck, where the bite had been intended?

He wondered if he would honestly even register the pain. He felt like it would be so horrifying, he'd be dead instantly. He was terrified. He didn't want to kill Kacchan, but it seemed as if the arm hat had been ripped to shreads, didn't give him another choice.

"Ka-Kacchan?" Izuku asked the monster in the other corner of the room. "Plea-please fight it" he begged the man with a moveless arm, looking at him with red flaming eyes. "Cause I-I-I can't kill you"

Blood streamed down on the ground from the tip of Katsuki's fingers. The blood creeper closer to the greenette, following a red trail. Izuku could only wonder what was keeping him standing. It just showed how his brain wasn't even registering the pain. Then how would it register the omega's voice?

Izuku had been right, Kacchan didn't seem to hear him anymore. As if the bite had taken his last piece of sanity. There was only anger in the alpha's burning eyes.

"Ka-kacchan?" Izuku asked doubtfully, almost too silent to be heard. As the other let out a low growl out of the now seemingly darker corner of the classroom.

"This is it" Shigaraki spoke as he the smile on his face grew wider. It had all been worth the wait. "You don't exist to him anymore" he yelled out hilariously with a echoing laugh.

"A real animal"

"Or should I say Alpha?"

Izuku's fingers trembled, to the point the knife threatened to slip out of his grasp once again. The blonde came closer slowly step by step, like an actual lion approaching his prey. The greenette averted his gaze, knowing he had lost.

He could feel Katsuki's hand's grabbing his wrist and twisting it. "Oww" Izuku screamed out, without even once opening his eyes, waiting.

But the only thing filling his ears, was a loud thud on the floor. When Izuku opened his eyes, he immediately choked on the now thick air in the room.

He stepped away from the bleeding body on the ground. Kacchan had used the knife on himself and now he had reached his limit. Even with his howling mind Katsuki had pushed himself to protect his omega.

Izuku felt tears filling his eyes, as he noticed the three letter word he had used. He fell down on due to his now weak knees and watched the scene his mind couldn't comprehend.

The thought of Kacchan fighting nature made the greenette believe the sincerity of his regretful requests. But that only made the tears worse as he realized it was too late and they would never become a reality anymore, since his neck was still

markless.

Even adrenaline had given up on the blonde's body, determining his limit. Izuku's hands made their way onto the already colder stomach of the blond, as tears threatened to fall down on it.

There were so many things he still wanted to say, so many words left unsaid. The fact he would never be able to say those words with Kacchan hearing, made it even harder to speak them.

"I-I for-forgive you" sounded echoing in a sniffle, with no one to recieve the message. "Ohh Kac-Kacchan"

"I-I always have"
