When the bell rang in Han's house, Jisung ran downstairs, grabbing his backpack. Before he could even open the door, his mother did that and smiled at the sight of her son's friend. Jisung hadn't put his shoes on yet when the woman let his friend into the mudroom. She had always liked Felix and she thought that Jisung couldn't find a better friend.

"Felix!" she shouted, pulling the red-haired inside, giving no attention to her son who was still dressing up behind her. "I haven't seen you for so long!"

Felix also ignored Jisung, who was lacing his shoes, smiling at his mother.

"Good evening, miss Han" he answered. "It's nice to see you too."

"Where are you going?" she asked, lifting her eyebrows. Jisung wanted to answer, straightening his posture, but his friend was first.

"We're going to search for some rocks" Felix interposed, making Jisung's and miss Han's eyes open wider. Brunette wanted to kick his friend's ass because as always he couldn't keep silent. "Because we need them to stone our math teacher."

Jisung looked at him with angry eyes, throwing his hands into the air.

"Felix!" Jisung shrieked, sighing loudly. Sometimes he couldn't stand Felix.

But before he could deny the red-haired's words, his mom started to laugh loudly.

"Ah, that's why I like you, Felix" she sighed, ignoring the embarrassing sounds that the younger Han had made. "Go, just be careful."

After a moment they left the mudroom and walked into the garden which was covered with darkness. The temperature was cool, and that's why the slightly older boy pulled his sleeves onto his hands. Blindly he reached for the taller's hand, interwinding their fingers. It was normal for them — they'd been holding each other's hands since they became friends. They had known each other for years and their friendship could seem weird to some people. They were always holding hands on walks and hugging while watching films, and maybe other people could find it weird, but for them, it was as completely normal.

Jisung sighed, squeezing Lee's smaller hand. If Felix wasn't there, he wouldn't go out when it's dark outside. He hated darkness and maybe it was unmanly, but he had never left the house after the twilight alone if he didn't need to do that. Maybe he was acting like a kid, but this was how he was and he couldn't change that even though he wanted to. Luckily, Felix knew about that and that's why he was holding the slightly older boy's hand every time. They were friends and they were meant to help each other no matter what happened. But these days their friendship seemed to disappear a little bit — he didn't mean their special bond, but they were spending less time with each other. Both of them found someone and that's why they didn't have time for each other. They wanted to change that so they decided to go on an evening walk. Talking wasn't the main part they missed, because they were talking at school, but they needed each other's presence.

They were going through the darkness in silence, holding hands all the time. They were walking around their neighbourhood, talking about some petty things. Because even though Hyunjin and Chan made them happy, they still missed the times when they could spend time with each other every afternoon. Shivers ran through shorter's body when the cool wind hit his skin. Australian boy squeezed his hands tightly, wanting to gift him some of his warmth. Finally, they reached the garages, that were placed behind the houses and blocks of flats. They went past them and found the place, which was their secret entrance. As always Felix gave Jisung a lift up. The shorter boy held the edge of the garage's roof and then climbed onto the rooftop. He managed to go up and helped Felix do the same. They both sat on the edge of the rooftop and let their legs down. Probably if it wasn't dark outside, then somebody would pass out at the sight of them sitting on the edge of the garage's roof or at least would shout at them. Luckily they were alone, so didn't need to worry about such things.

Jisung sighed quietly, resting his head on the taller's shoulder.

"You know, I'm scared" he started, looking at the view in front of them. The darkness was slightly lit up by the yellow streetlight that was placed nearby. He could see light in some flats in the block. The half-moon was hovering above their heads and the cool wind was chipping on their skin. "What will happen with us."

Felix immediately turned so he could look into Jisung's eyes.

"What do you mean?" Felix asked, frowning.

Jisung licked his lips, looking down. He intertwined their fingers, sighing heavily.

"You know" he gulped. "I have a boy, you have somebody too. You see that we spend less time with each other" he explained. "I don't want our friendship to end because of it."

The red-haired shook his head, grabbing both of Jisung's hands. He squeezed them, smiling at him.

"Listen to me, silly" he started. "No matter if we'll be in relationships, I won't leave you, because you're my soulmate" he sighed, smiling widely. "I love you, Sungie" he added. "Maybe we won't spend as much time together as before, but it won't change our friendship" he explained, making Jisung cry. The brown-haired sniffled, nodding. "And don't even try to think that our friendship is going to end because we have boyfriends. I love you, silly and I will never leave you. How could you doubt it?"

Jisung sniffed again, snuggling into the younger's body.

"I'm sorry" he sobbed into his jacket. "And I love you too."

Because besides love, everybody needs a friend.
