Bang smiled for the last time, looking at the smartphone's screen after a talk with Felix. He pocked his phone and then quickly stood up. After a few seconds, he was standing straight. He tapped his collar, wanting to be sure that he looked exactly like he was supposed to look. After a moment he heard his father's voice, so he quickly left his room and ran down the stairs. There were his parents' friends, who were standing in the hall. He bowed and then he held Mr and Mrs Hong's hands.
"So you're Chan," the man said, squishing the boy's hand. Blonde nodded his head. "You're really handsome like your father said".
The boy sent him a forced smile, letting his hand. He asked the guests in, where they sat in the living room. Some meals and bottles of wine have been standing on the table for the past few minutes. There was also standing an expensive dinnerware which was made in Italy and some thin glasses, which could break with only one wrong move. But who could expect something different from the one of the most powerful families in the city?
Mr Hong started to eat his salad with the seafood and then he spoke to the Bang's son.
"I heard that you have really nice marks, Chan" he said.
"I'm doing my best" the blonde chimed in.
"So you'll probably be CEO, like your father, won't you?" Mrs Hong said, staring at Chan's smiling face.
The boy has learned about ethics and manners since he was a kid because he couldn't bring shame to his family. Even though he felt the embarrassment, he couldn't show, so he still stayed calm.
"It's possible" he answered, smiling a little.
"You're such a cute boy" the compliment blew past the woman's mouth. Chan gave acknowledgement for it.
It was how the talk seemed for a few minutes. The youngest member of Bang's family was its main topic. They talked about his school life, his future job and at the end — his love life.
"Let me guess" Mr Hong broke the silence. "You've got a girlfriend, haven't you?"
"Um... I..." teenager stuttered out.
"In fact, Chan is going to marry CEO Choi's daughter in two years" Mr Bang interrupted him. His son immediately lurched. He had completely mess in his head. He didn't like girls and in fact, he had a big crush on Felix. His father has always decided instead of him. He wanted Chan to find a girl, who could improve their family company. But Chan didn't want it to go this way. When his parents talked about his future relationship, he always had Felix's smiling face in front of his eyes. He didn't want to marry a spoiled girl, who was rolling in money.
"Wh-what?" the blonde stammered it out. He couldn't believe in his parent's words.
"We wanted to tell you about it today" the man answered. "You remember Songi, right?"
"Lovely girl" Chan's mother commented. "You'd look nice together" she added.
"But I-" the blonde felt that he was unable to talk. "I can't".
"What are you talking about?" Mr Bang mumbled.
"Because-" he couldn't speak again. He was afraid of telling the truth. "I-"
All adults looked at the younger, who seemed as he was about to vomit.
"I'm gay!" he shrieked. Silence filled the room.
Boy's mother covered her mouth by her hand and then looked at the guests. She guided them to the other room. For a few seconds, Chan's father was glancing him, which made him tremble from the fear. And then his hand met the younger's cheek. Teenager held the hurting skin as he felt tears appearing in his eyes.
