It had been a few days since the prison break which coincidentally for Foolish was also the same day that Quackity had hired him to do something for Las Nevadas. That also meant that he was too busy to visit Selene.

He had been sending her letters and messages but not once did he receive anything back. All he knew is that they were okay but from the silence, he didn't know.

Quite honestly he can't understand why but all he knew is that after Quackity's commission is that he would be visiting her. And that day finally arrived. He quickly left the manmade desert and finally reached the path that Karl cleared for those who want to visit her.

He reached Selene's home and from one glance, he just knew that she hasn't been home yet. This made him frown and confused. Walking to her door, she knocked and called out, "Hello? Selene? Are you here?" he called out.

But like what he expected, there wasn't a single response. He sighed and was about to leave but then he noticed something extremely peculiar and different from normal. He furrowed his eyebrows and walked to the side of the house.

His jaw dropped at the sight, Selene's garden was completely destroyed. "Who would do such a thing?" he asked himself as he pushed the gate of the fence open. He sighed as he picked up a wilted rose.

He shook his head, "Whoever did this is so rude and cruel." He said to himself before throwing down his satchel and starting to pluck out the dead weeds and flowers.

As he did so, he frowned at how silent it was around. When visiting, he got used to the sound of Selene's humming, or her working in the kitchen, or even the sound of her kettle whistling. It was just simple sounds but it was an indication that she was there and that there was life in the place.

But now, it was silent. Nothing but the sound of the lost chickens and pigs and cows and even sheep was heard. Although one thing was weird as he was clearing out the garden.

There was something about the flowers that made him feel as though he shouldn't be throwing them out. So, he didn't. Opening up his satchel, he pulled out a handkerchief and placed the now dead flowers on it before folding it to give it to her.

Once he cleared everything, he pursed his lips, he didn't want to leave it as it is. So, he looked up at the sky and realized that it was the afternoon, he didn't like having clocks, especially at how bulky it was.

He hummed to himself and decided on giving the garden the attention it needed. Opening a shulker box that was in his satchel, he placed some grass around before planting some flowers he got from wandering around.

He was planning on giving her these flowers but seeing the state of her garden, he decided on just picking her some new ones and just planting the ones he had on him now.

Foolish didn't know the reason why she kept the garden and why it was important to her. All he knew was that the garden meant a lot to her.

So, despite not knowing what really happened or the backstory of the garden, he decided on fixing it for her. And he did, he did it until the sun was starting to set. He hummed in response and turned to the garden before standing up.

He smiled and placed a hand on his hips. He was proud of how it turned out, he was happy to see how it looked now. But he looked back to the path, hoping that Selene would be walking back home.

But she wasn't. So, the frown on his face returned. He gathered his things and tools, walked to the door of her home, and place the folded handkerchief by the door in hopes that when she comes home she will see it.

He hoped she would see in time. But he knew, all he could do is hope. So, on his way back to his summer home, he decided on placing some torches down in hopes to keep the mobs away.

As Foolish walked to the path, he did one last look back to the house and sighed. "I hope you're safe Selene." And with that, he walked away.
