Selene shook her head as she chuckled at her friends. She was just wandering around the land of Kinoko when she noticed some people gathering. She was noticed by George very quickly who pulled her to their small gathering.

She couldn't deny the invitation of the guy who was usually asleep. He was a good guy so Selene obliged the invitation.

So, there she found herself sitting on one of the chairs watching Foolish and George stack oak boats in the water. It was getting a bit tall but it was time consuming enough for them to be distracted until Karl returns.

The traveler has stated that he had gifts for everyone but he had to get it back home. So, the friends and the food waited on him. George and Foolish took it upon themselves to create entertainment while Tina was using one of the boats to row in circles with Callahan behind her.

Her eyes widened when George pushed Foolish off the ledge, she stood up but let a breath of relief when she realized that he would land on the water.

"George." Hannah and Eret scolded him but the young man just chuckled before jumping off himself. Foolish swam to the shore and Selene met him there.

He shook his hair making her scoff and throw a spare towel she had in her satchel, "You are both idiots." She said. He laughed and started to dry his hair with the towel. "Worth it." He said with a shrug.

Selene furrowed her eyebrows, "You could have hit the ground." She pointed out and crossed her arms. Foolish sent her a look, "I don't die-" "You can still get hurt idiot." She cut him off and flicked his forehead.

He gasped and pouted at her. The interaction was watched by their friends making them laugh. Selene turned to them and shrugged, "I'm not wrong am I?" she asked and walked back to her chair with Foolish following after her.

She sat back in her chair with Foolish pulling a chair to be next to her. "I swear you two are two peas in a pod," Hannah commented with a chuckle making the others laugh as well.

Karl who just came back snickered, "Now now, I and Selene are the peas in a pod. Who else would she be in a pod with than her best friend?" he asked jokingly. "The guy she likes," George said nonchalantly as he yawned.

Foolish's eyes widened in shock, "What?" "George!" Karl and Selene spoke at the same time. Karl turned to look at his best friend who was sitting next to his good friend. Her cheeks were bright red, they shared eye contact. He sent her a look and she shook her head.

The traveler huffed but nodded and turned to Tina and called out to her and Callahan so that they could start eating.

The group did so, chatting happily and sharing that time to spend time together. Despite the looming feeling of the worry because of Dream escaping, they all pushed it aside to be together.

As they were all talking, Karl couldn't help but glance at Selene and Foolish who seemed to be busy chatting with each other.

Don't get him wrong, he was glad that the two were getting along but what worried him was the curse. Karl didn't want Selene to suffer and he also didn't want Foolish to end up dead because of it.

Despite seeing how happy his best friend looked, he knew he had to save the both of them before it was too late.
