Selene sighed as she rubbed her back. She had tried to stay by Karl's side as long as she could. But what she didn't expect was to witness a fight between the three fiances.
Her heart broke at the scene, the way Sapnap was trying to fix it and bring them all together, but of course it didn't end well. This resulted to Selene jumping in to the situation and brokethem apart before anything bad happened.
This left her pretty exhausted so, when she got home, she didn't expect to see Foolish sitting on her porch. What she also didn't expect was the sight of her garden.
With her jaw dropped and hands shaking, she walked to the now alive garden, walking past Foolish making him look up at her in shock. "Selene?" he asked.
The girl didn't give her any mind but rather her focus was on her garden. To her it was miracously fixed. "Wha- How did this..." she trailed. Foolish stood behind her, "I hope you don't mind. I fixed it up a bit. I know how important the garden is to you." He said carefully.
Selene turned to him in complete surprise, "You- you fixed it?" she asked with a small voice. Foolish scratched the back of his neck and nodded, "Yeah. Just cause you told me once- Oh." He cut himself off when Selene launched herself to him.
Wrapped in her arms, Foolish sighed in content before hugging her back. He placed his chin on top of her head, "Did I do something?" he asked. She moved back slightly but still keeping her arms around his waist.
She smiled at him genuinely, "You know, I thought I could stop it and I wish I could. Because feeling like this causes death to people and I don't want that for you." She said.
Foolish tilted his head, "Death- Selene, do you have feelings for me?" he asked. Tears formed in her eyes as her lips trembled, "I don't want you to die." She said as she shook her head like a child.
He sighed and cupped her cheeks, "Why would I die?" he asked. She sniffed, "Because that's my curse. People I have feelings for die." She admitted.
Selene couldn't help the tears from falling, she shook her head in guilt and was about to move back but Foolish placed his hands on her waist. "Don't." "You're going to die."
He shook his head, "No." he said. She furrowed her eyebrows and scoffed, "What- Foolish did you not hear me?" "Oh I heard you very clearly." He said confidently.
She shook her head, "Then what the hell- You're going to die. Can't you understand that?" "I can but you forgot one thing Selene." He said with a soft smile.
"What?" she asked confused. "I don't die. Confetti remember?"
