a mother's pain turns into the daughter's rage
a father's rage tunes into his daughters pain
a daughter's pain turns into a black hole
all consuming, ready to steal and break, to hurt and fix and scream
a daughter's pain turns into a mother's pain
and when the cycle repeats, she will look at her kids, and wonder
why she didn't do better
