my best friend
is the love of my life
she's my soulmate
the part of me I've always missed
she's the sun in the morning
and the stars at night.
There is nothing in this world I wouldn't do to see her smile
I'd give my heart lungs and eyes
just to know her safe
my best friend is my heart soul and love
she embodies the hope i hold
she is the tears I shed
and the laughs we share.
she's held me through pain
as i held her
we were always together.
if anyone asked who she was to me
I'd say, the love of my life.
she was the first I loved,
the first who saw me unafraid
the first who heard me and stayed
the first who loved me anyways
the first who saw me bleed and stayed
the first who I saw bruised and stayed
the first who I started fighting for
the first who I never wanted to loose
the first who I took care of
the first who I loved.
she is the love of my life.
and i hope that one day someone will be able to love her the same way I do.
