"Gahh!" I let out a sudden scream when a sudden alarm goes off in the office where I sit at my desk. "What the fuck?" I huff out a breath and sit back in my chair after I jump along with my son who felt that shiver of fear ripple down my spine

"Sorry, hun." Darla chuckles in her crackly voice when she spins around in her chair behind me and off to the side a little. "Didn't mean to scare you or your baby." She smiles

"It's alright." I take a deep breath and delete the line of random letters I typed when my hands slammed on the keyboard of my computer before they came down to my bump. "What is that alarm for?" I ask and look over my right shoulder

"It just means that The Avengers have returned from a mission and need medical assistance from the first crew up there." She shrugs and sees my face soften out to worry. "You can go but I don't think you'll make it to be the first."

"I'll make room for me." I wave my hand and grip the handles to help me stand up. "Thanks, Darla." I add before I walk out of the office

"Be careful when running!" She calls and I give a thumbs up as I round the corner and rush down the hallway that separates the public clinic to the SHIELD and Avenger clinic which is also the place where you can find Bruce if he isn't in his lab with Tony but I can't find either of them when I slam my hands on the doors of the clinic and see everyone sprinting all around with groaning and unconscious agents

"Y/n!" Layla speaks and I spin all around until I find her and sigh in relief that depends at the words she says before I can even say them. "James needs no medical attention and is upstairs taking a shower. He told me to let you know he is not injured in anyway." She grabs my biceps and gives me a moment to get my heart to settle down. "I cleared him myself." She adds

"Thank mama and his momma." I breathe and lift a hand to my chest where his dog tags sit on my pounding heart that is close to making the metal clink together. "I worry more now that he's on the way." I admit and we both glance down at my bump

"I understand and know what you mean." She nods and squeezes my arms. "Just take it easy and handle your Avengers." She reminds me

"Okay." I take one more deep breath and drop my mind back in my nurse mindset where I need to be calm and accurate with everything. "Alright, I got it. Thank you." I give her a quick hug

"I got you, mama." She smiles and I do too. "Go see your family." She drops her hands and I nod as I walk away to weave throughout the many nurses and doctors shouting orders who have created a natural walking road along the outsides of the fabric cuts off rooms that I completely ignore when I see the feet of Clint's uniform and hear Natasha talking

"What the Hell happened here?" I ask when I see Clint laying on the bed with a slit cheek and bicep, Tony with a bloody forehead, and Natasha who has nothing wrong with her at all

"сестра!" Natasha exclaims with a large smile and stands up from her chair to come and hug me

"Hi, сестра." I laugh and hug her back while taking a small twig out of her lightly tangled blonde hair. "What happened this time?" I eye Clint and Tony who glare at each other

"Stark doesn't know how to fly his own invention." Clint grumbles and Tony scoffs

"We were three feet from the ground before my thruster gave out." Tony rolls his eyes. "You act like I dropped you three hundred feet." He turns away from the archer who flips him off

"Okay." I sigh and Nat goes to sit back down only after she rubbed my stomach. "Let's get this handled so you guys can argue outside of the clinic." I decide and they agree as I move to put gloves on
