Painful Halloween- chapter 2

I finally see my house in the distance as I continue to weary. I pull out my keys from my pocket٫ ready to unlock my door as I get closer.

I shove the house key in the key hole٫ twist and enter my house locking the door behind me. I hear my little sisters talking loudly in the living room.

It gets easier to listen as I get closer٫ putting my keys back in my pocket. They seem to be talking about something exciting٫ my youngest sister running around the room.

I ask my mom whom is on the couch what all the commotion is about. In which she responds in a sort of confused tone; "just about halloween sweetie٫ what are your plans this year?"

As the words come out of her mouth. I feel a very disturbing and quick shiver rush through my body. "I don't know. Isn't it two weeks away?" I riposte towards her words. She seems suprised as she asks if I'm excited.

"No. I'm not excited." My tone sounding annoyed. "But your always excited.." My mom looks to be worried. But I just dodge her response and walk over to the fridge to pour myself a glass of water.

My sisters all hyped up and already can't wait for the holiday to arrive. My youngest sister explains yelling٫ "I'm gonna be Elsa!" In which my other sisters respond with saying what they are going to dress up as.

I remember when I was that excited for halloween. I think to myself as I watch my youngest sister once again running around the room. I didn't enjoy candy as much anymore and I've been tired lately٫ so clearly٫ I'm over halloween now.

I start to feel sarrow spread from head to toe. I head up to my room with my things and try to relax for the rest of the day.

I wake up٫ and look at the time only being midnight. I've awoken to a headache and an exhausted body. I look to my bedside table and see my glass of water empty.

I try my best to get up. Barely able to move٫ I make my way down stairs with my phone flash on and fill my glass in the kitchen.

Once I'm in my bed again I put on my regular relaxing music to try and soothe my body back into a slumber.

I wake up again. Just a few hours later with a cough. I drink some water and decide to scroll on social media for a little bit.

I almost instantly get very tired again as my orbs hit the light on my screen. I put my phone down causing my head to calm. Although I am tired٫ something stops me from dozing off.

I lay in my bed all night trying to get comfortable yet couldn't fall back into the land of dreams.

A/N

Yes. Still pretty boring. But what do you think is wrong with Amiliea? Why is she not as excited for halloween this year as she was last year? Why can't she properly sleep?

We might find out in the next chapter. I don't know٫ you have to wait and find out.
