Painful Halloween- chapter 18

Zuri's point of view as Amiliea is doing her skincare.

Amiliea walked over to her mirror and started putting skin products on her face. I couldn't help but stare at her as she did it. My eyes were all over her٫ even when she finished and turned to me٫ "where do you wanna sleep?"

"The floor is fine. You keep your bed." I get on the ground and ask for a blanket. "Right- ok. I'll get you one."

I softly laughed and saw the red in her face as she left the room. When she came back with a blanket and pillow٫ I made myself comfortable on the ground.

Liea turned out the lights and climbed into her bed. Every part of me wanted to be in that bed with her and cuddle her into a deep sleep.

All I could do was imagine though. After my thoughts were done rushing through my head٫ I could hear Amiliea's heavy breath above me. She's sleeping already. Her breath comforted me into my own sleep.

I wake up in the dark and turn over. What time is it? I closed my eyes for a second as I look to the window٫ no sight of light٫ it's probably too early to get up.

I turn over again and put my focus towards Liea's breathing. Every second that passed my body got more tense instead of heavy. The ground was beginning to feel uncomfortable and everything in me said to get next to Liea.

I thought about it for a minute but then thought of the outcomes or possiblities or- how she'd feel. I tried to get comfortable on ground but the thought of being in her bed with her٫ the sound of her breath only made me excited.

So I gave up. I got to my feet and slowly attempted to slide into her bed behind her. She was facing the wall and gave me enough room next to her to lay down.

Her breathing was more clear and when my head sipped onto her shoulder and my hand made it's way to hers I could hear her breath get calmer then before.

I listened closly to her breath٫ closed my eyes and felt my body getting heavy. Not long after I felt myself falling into a slumber٫ close to Liea.

I awake with no one in the bed but me. I sit up without seeing Amiliea in the room. Then I remembered what I had done last night.

Was sleeping with her a mistake? maybe her feelings changed٫ what if I made her whole life worse. The negativity haunted me until I told myself to get up.

I head down stairs to see if I can get some food before I head home. I get nurvous as I make my way closer to the kitchen. I see Amiliea in the living room playing with her sister and I smile.

I admire her until she notices me. I look to her mom and wonder if she told her about what I'd done. Maybe everyone hates me.

Nobody around me lays an eye on me accept for Liea. She gets up and walks over to me. "Listen٫ I'm really sorry Liea.." I would've gone on but Amiliea stopped me from going further.

"It's ok.. What do you want for breakfast?" She just brushed it off. "Oh٫ uh. Cereal is fine." I say٫ surprisingly without a stutter.

My eyes travel her body as she gets me what I requested. I see she's changed٫ into her regular cute outfits. She seems fresh.
