Painful Halloween- chapter 17

As soon as I saw my house I got excited in a way. Holding Zuri's hand٫ I went up to my bedroom. Home sweet home.

I laid on my clean sheets and smiled. I hear Zuri laugh and I fall out of heaven. God٫ she's so cute..

I softly laugh with her and sit up٫ hanging my feet off the edge of the bed. Zuri climbs in and takes a seat next to me. We sit there for some time and hold hands romantically.

I couldn't imagine my life without Zuri. The feelings I have for her could barely keep quiet. I kept looking at our hands and Zuri. While she just looked ahead.

I wanted to hold eye contact٫ I wanted to do something and I didn't want to hold back. I scooted as much as I could to get closer to her and laid my head on her shoulder.

Of course I couldn't push down my hunger for long٫ but before I could do anything I heard my mom call for dinner.

We both stood and made our way to the table٫ separating as we sit. I slowly start eating the food that my mom set infront of everyone.

I couldn't help but stare at Zuri though. I could barely take it. I drink some water and try to stop admiring her beauty before anyone noticed.

We all consumed our food silently for the night and when everyone was finished I took Zuri to my room.

"Do you want to borrow another change of clothes for tonight?" I say as I change. Zuri was turned around٫ looking at the wall of course.

"Yes please٫ thank you Liea." I love the way Zuri's voice sounds. I could listen to her all day long٫ and I love how she's always so calm and nice.

"Ok. You can pick out whatever you like٫ I'll go brush my teeth." I honestly didn't want to leave the room but I couldn't just stare at her while she was changing. "Ok. Thanks again."

I walk out the door and lightly close it. I stood there for a minute or two in my thoughts. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and after came back out.

"You done?" I knocked on the door. "Sorry- one second." Zuri said٫ again being very nice. Everything in me wanted to open the door before she was done.

But I held control and only walked in when she said she was done. Zuri waited on my bed as I did my skincare. Unfortunately I couldn't see her in the mirror٫ but I could feel her eyes all over me.

When I finally finished٫ I turned to Zuri. "Where do you wanna sleep?" I knew she couldn't sleep with me in my bed but I desperately wanted that.

"The floor is fine. You keep your bed." Zuri insisted. She got off the bed and asked for some blankets. "Right- ok. I'll get you one." Zuri softly laughed after I said that.

Oh my٫ I- your laugh is certainly dreamy. I honestly almost fell. I got her a blanket and a pillow and she made herself comfortable on the ground.

I turned the lights out and got in my bed. I wished many times that she was with me in my bed and cuddling me. I never knew the day that that happened was sooner then I thought.
