Painful Halloween- Chapter 19

Back to Amiliea's point of view in the morning.

My mind starts comimg to me as I wake up and feel a heavy weight on me. Once I wake up٫ I realize the weight is Zuri clinging onto me in my bed.

I paniced and felt heat rushing through my whole body. What do I do? Should I wake her up? stay here and enjoy her embrace until she's awake? or get up and head downstairs٫ leaving her here?

I was panicing so I just slowly got out of my bed trying not to wake her up and started getting ready for the day. I head downstairs for some food and luckily nobody noticed my red face.

I quickly ate some eggs since I wasn't in the mood for cereal today and decided to stay down here٫ at least until Zuri wakes up. I saw Layla playing with some toys and since I didn't want to get bored I decided to sit down next to her and play.

I grabbed one of her dolls and we both played until I reaized Zuri staring at me. I put the doll to bed and walked over to her.

I saw the regret in her eyes when she started to apologize for last night. "Listen٫ I'm really sorry Liea.." I didn't know what to think about this but I'm not gonna say I didn't like it.

I knew she was going to keep on going but I stopped her by saying; "It's ok.. What do you want for breakfast?"

"Oh٫ uh. Cereal is fine." Once I got the dish and went over to the cereal٫ I could feel her eyes on me again. After I gave her what she wanted٫ I went back to finish my game with Layla.

After I did٫ Zuri had just finished her food. I wasn't just going to let her leave٫ so I got up and suggested we go out together.

She agreed and we went to the park near the school. We sat on the slide again and I stared into the sky. I smiled as I felt the breeze and Zuri's body leaning into mine.

Suddenly٫ I felt my hand on her thigh and once it found a comfortable place it did not move. Zuri looked into my eyes with surprise but was speechless.

I could tell she liked it though as I  looked into hers. I rubbed my thumb back and forth like the way she did to my hand on Halloween to comfort me.

There was really nothing to talk about so we just sat there٫ enjoying the breeze and connection of each others touch. Zuri laid her head on my shoulder and we both smiled.

When the sun started coming into sight٫ we closed our eyes and not long later thought it was getting too hot to stay outside. So I texted my mom quick letting her know that I was going to stay at Zuri's with her for some time.

Then we headed to her house while holding hands. She led me to her room when we got inside and sat on her bed the way we did on mine the day I came back from the hospital.

I laid my head on her shoulders getting comfortable and shortly after Zuri put her hand on my thigh. I started getting tired and put my legs over her's.

She started stroking my fore leg as I held her arm. I felt my body getting heavy and I closed my eyes. I smiled in comfort and dozed off.

So- this was kinda deeeeeeep.🤭

I wanted it to be deeper but- they kinda uhm.. slowly getting there?👀
