Chapter 11

Scott's POV

I woke up early that morning reading the time from my phone that read 6:26 AM. I felt weak and my whole body felt like it fell apart. I mange to pull myself out of Mitch's bed and went to the kitchen to make coffee.

It wasn't the same without Mitch here. I miss him and I couldn't function straight. I carried my coffee and went to sit on the couch, the room was so quiet that I could hear Wyatt's little paws walking across the floor to me.
Wyatt jumped up onto the couch and curled up in my lap.

"Mitch will be home soon don't worry" I said petting Wyatt

I sat on the couch with Wyatt for awhile finishing my coffee, I took that moment to really think what I needed to do.
After finishing my coffee Wyatt got off my lap and I got up to my room to get ready. I picked my black skinny jeans, a blue tank top and my favourite Joyrich SnapBack. I walked out of my room and grabbed my keys from the kitchen counter.

"See you later Wyatt " I said as he brushed up on my leg

I opened the door from the apartment and closed it behind me locking it. I walked down the narrow hall to the elevator and took it all the way down to the parking level.
I got out and found my car in the same position where it was last time.
I opened the door and closed it, just when I was about to start the engine my phone rang.

"Hello ? "

"Hey Scott "

It was Alex.

"Hey what's up ? Why you calling me so earlier ? " I said playing around with my keys

I could hear him take a deep breathe on the other end of the call.

"Well my job says I have to travel... from some photoshoots for a couple of months..."

"Oh" I said

"Yeah and I know it's going to be hard because you are going to be on tour performing mostly everyday" Alex says as his phone became weaker

"I understand .... Boy this is hard " I said shaking my head

And it was truly hard because still some part of me had feelings for him.

"I know and I'm thinking .... I'm thinking we should -"

"Separate for awhile?" I said cutting Alex off not meaning for those words to come out

"Yeah... And if we see each other again and can re connect then we can get back together again .... Okay?"

"Okay.... that makes sense ... We have to be mature about this."

"Yes ... Well Scott I'll talk to you later and maybe give you the details when my trip is. Maybe we even talk about this a little more some time soon. I just really wanted to tell you." Alex said

"Yeah I understand maybe later this week would be good for us but for now I got to go I have to do some things today. We will talk soon okay ? " I said as my voice was soft

"Yes definitely " Alex said hanging up the phone

I sat in the car for a second before leaving and I knew I was upset about Alex because I've been with him for over a year and yes my heart did hurt but I knew the universe was maybe telling me hey you need Mitch or maybe just playing tricks on me.

Mitch's POV

"Mitchy ! You ready for breakfast ? " I heard Kirstin shout from outside my door

"Kirstin it's only 7am !! " I said rolling over and pulling the covers up

"I know I know but by the time you get ready it will be 8am" she said with a chuckle

"You didn't " I said with a gasp

"Drag ha sis how will she recovaaaaa anyways get ready ! " Kirstin said as I has her feet wake away from my door

I pulled myself out of bed and quickly looked at my hair and fixed its before leaving the room still in my pyjamas.

"Kirstin where's the coffee at ?" I said walking down the hall way down to the kitchen

"On the counter just made it now " she said from the couch

"Thanks " I said giving her a smile

I brought my coffee to living room and joined Kirstin has her favourite show was on.

We were about half way in the show when we heard a knock on the door.

" Who's that ? " I asked Kirstin

" I don't know I'm not expecting anyone " she said getting off the couch

I set my coffee now on the table and walked with Kirstin.
She looked through the peephole and then turned to me has her face started to look worried.

"Um its for you " Kirstin said leaving the room

I didn't bother looking through the peephole has I had a feeling who I knew who it was.

I unlocked the knock and opened the door to see Scott standing right in front of me.

"What are you doing here ? " I said through gritted teeth

"I came to say sorry " Scott said looking me in the eyes

"You lost that chance " I said crossing my arms

"Look can we talk about this outside? Please ? " He said motioning to out the hall.

I took a good 5 minutes before nodding and walked out to the hall closing the door behind me.

Scott's POV

My heart was beating a mile and my hands became sweaty.

"Look Mitch I'm really sorry for not figuring things without Alex earlier ... But I have figured them out now. I know what I want "

Mitch stood there with his arms crossed and took a long pause before he replied.

"Oh really you figured it out now ? So what do you want Scott ? "

I adjusted my snapback and moved in closer to Mitch making the gap smaller.

" I want you ... And I have feelings for you I mean I can't stop thinking about you... I need you." I said moving in as there was no more space between Mitch and I has Mitch was now leaning against the wall

" What about Alex ?" Mitch said looking in my eyes

"We called it off ... He's going on a trip for a couple of months for his job so we said long distance would be extremely hard since we are going on tour soon." I said as our foreheads touched and my hand pushing against the wall

"So what you say ? " I added with a smirk

"How could I stay mad at you ? " Mitch said placing his hand on my cheek sliding down behind my neck bringing me down where are lips crashed against each other's
