I didn't drink that much, only one Moscow Mule. Will, Mark, and Joe did drink a lot though. To the point where Ash and I shared worried glances at each other once every 5 minutes. Wilbur let out a giant dramatic gasp, it startled me at first. "They have karaoke?!" he shouted.

"No, Will- we aren't going to do that" I told him, putting my hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, in fact we're going to go ahead and start leaving pretty soon" Ash added.

"What? Why?" Joe questioned, frowning. I felt like I was explaining to children why we have to leave the candy store. "Because you, Will, and Mark are drunk and I want you guys to not die tonight" I explained. "We're going to die?!" Mark questioned, wide eyed. His mouth filled with fries. "Eat you fries" I told him. "Chips" Ash corrected. "Whatever" I waved off the correction.

"So, we're leaving?" Will questioned with a frowny face. I nodded, giving him a pouty lip back, "Yeah" I said in the saddest voice I could put on. "You're so rude, Y/n" Ash scolded me, laughing.

TIME SKIP

The walk to Wilbur's house was eventful. Ash had to help me make sure Joe wouldn't walk into the street while Wilbur kept begging for my attention and harassing me with apologies on how he didn't mean to get drunk and be a burden.

At least Mark was okay. He was just fascinated by the world and more importantly did as told. He got an imaginary gold star that night.

"Y/n! Please don't be upset with me!" Will pleaded. "For the hundredth time you're okay! You aren't a burden, silly!" I exclaimed. Will froze in his place and stared at me like I just got shot. "What now?" I asked him. Tears filled his eyes, "You're mad at me!" he shouted, the tears rolling down his face.

"You were saying about him not crying in front of people?" I questioned, tugging on Joe's arm attempting to get him out of the street. My attempt succeeded, luckily. Just in time for a car to pass us by.

We made it back successfully with no major casualties. I sighed and let go of Joe's jacket sleeve, letting him stumble around the house with the other two loose drunk people.

"Let's see...Water and I'm sure I have some non-fast-food items in the house" I mumbled to myself. "You've done this before?" Ash asked me. I laughed, "Have you met my mother?!" I quickly pressed my lips together, realizing how obnoxious that sounded.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to sound that scary" I apologized. "You're alright. I forgot about your mom" Ash admitted. I smiled and shrugged.

"If you don't mind me asking...how much did you take care of your mom?" Ash asked me. I shrugged and turned to the sink to fill up a glass of water. "Think just like this but with only one middle aged mom" I told him, setting the full glass on the counter.

Ash nodded, his eyes glued onto mine, showing me, I had his full attention. "She was really funny at time while drunk but, other times she would switch up and become an... animal. I remember one time I-" I stopped myself from going on.

I put my hand back onto the glass to pick it up and give it to Mark but, Ash's hand stopped me, putting his hand on mine, "Tell me" he told me. His voice was soft. Ash's voice was always naturally softer than the other guys' voices, but this time it made my ears tingle.

"One time she was telling me these stories about her back in college and we were having a great time together! Then out of nowhere she got a little darker and started to blame me for dad leaving and then she hit me" I didn't dare look up from the cup. "It was scary how easily it was for her to switch up on me" I admitted.

Ash nodded, "I'm sorry, Y/n. Truly" he said. I shook my head and smiled, "Yeah! It's fine now though. I know you guys wouldn't hurt me" I told him, looking up at him with a smile. Ash's hand squeezed mine giving me the peace I really needed.

"Oh my god. Y/n" Will said. Ash and I quickly looked at Will who was standing at the entrance of the kitchen. "Did she really?" he asked me, his voice breaking.

"Come on, Wilbur. Let's get you to bed." I felt like I was taking care of an old man getting ready for bed. Ash let go of my hand and I walked up to Wilbur, cup in hand. I gave it to him and started guiding him to bed. "Ash, can you go take care of-" I stopped talking when I heard someone vomiting. "Check on Mark and Joe. I'll take care of Wilbur" I instructed Ash. Ash nodded and we split up.

I took Wilbur to bed and went to his dresser drawers. "Are you stealing my clothes?" Will asked me, sitting down on his bed. I shook my head. "I'm getting you comfortable clothes to sleep in. "Oh." he replied.

I put sweatpants and a sweater next to him. "Call me back into the room when you're done changing" I told him. He nodded and I left the room, giving him privacy to change.

A minute later he opened the door. I gave him a slanted smile and watched him get into bed. I tried desperately to ignore the sounds of someone throwing up. "Are they alright?" Wilbur asked me. I nodded, "Yup. Just a little tummy trouble I'm assuming" I replied.

He stared up at me with wide eyes. "Are you alright?" I asked him. He nodded, "You're amazing. Even when taking care of three drunk guys" he told me. I laughed, "Thank you" I thanked him.

Will turned and closed his eyes. "You want to come in bed? It's comfy" he asked me. I smiled and shook my head, "I'm not a fan of the smell of alcohol and you're drenched in the smell. Besides, I'm sure Ash needs help with the two vomiting boys" I told him, tucking his curly brown hair behind his ear. It was no use because it sprang back into its original place.

I sighed and flicked off the light. "Good night, Wilbur" I told him. "Night" he replied, yawning and turning around to fall asleep. I closed the door and took a deep breath. I heard another gut-wrenching sound of someone throwing up and I immediately ran to the bathroom.

My eyes landed on Joe's head leaning on the toilet while Ash rubbed his back, giving him quiet words of encouragement. My eyes soon flicked over to Mark who was sitting down inside the bathtub staring at Joe in horror.

"Mark" I called out to him. He slowly turned his head to me and stared up at me. "Come with me" I beckoned, holding my hand out for him. He took it, got out of the bathtub, and followed me into the kitchen. "So, tell me why you went into the bathtub" I went to the sink with another glass, filling it up.

"It looked so comfortable" Mark told me. I nodded, "Okay... could I interest you in laying on a couch instead of a bathtub?" I asked him, sliding the glass towards him.

He thought for a moment. "I guess, yeah" he agreed. "Awesome. Thank you." he chugged the glass of water, "No, thank you for the water" he told me, tapping the empty glass. I took it from him and filled it back up. "Here." I gave him the refill.

Mark smiled and started to drink it, happily. I leaned on the counter and stared at him, studying him. He was so cheerful despite just barely watching his friend throw up his guts.

He seemed so joyful to do the simplest things. "So, how about playing the drums together again?" I asked him. He perked up, "Of course! I love playing with you" he agreed, nodding. I smiled, "Awesome."
