TW: This is part two of the Halloween special. Mentions of ghosts, hauntings, death, and other things commonly brought up during Halloween that may be triggering to some people

Ash pressed his lighter to the green and pink candles. Lavender was placed around the candles. We all sat in a circle. I took a deep breath and stared at the spell in the book.

"Alright, it's time" Ash told me, letting the fire on his lighter go out. I cleared my throat. "Elements of the sun, elements of the day, come this way, powers of night and day, I summon thee, I call upon thee, to protect me, so it shall be." I looked around at everyone.

"How do we know it worked?" Joe asked. "Go stab James. See if it worked" Will joked. "How do we know if a protection spell worked or not?" I questioned. Mark grinned, "I have an idea."

We stared at the paper. Mark carefully balanced two pencils onto each other. "This isn't going to work" Will said, smiling. "You did the spell with us, why are you stopping now?" I asked him. Will stared at me, "I'm not going to not do it with you guys, but also I'm putting my input in" he told me.

"Very unneeded input" James said, we all let out hush laughs. "Charlie Charlie are you there?" Mark asked.

We all waited silently and patiently. I started to snicker to myself. I remember being in school and all the kids would talk about Charlie Charlie and Salad Fingers every day. Daring each other to watch or play the stupid scary bullshit.

Will nudged my arm, telling me to stop laughing to myself. I followed his orders. The pencil didn't budge.

Mark sighed and shrugged. "I'm all out of ideas" he said. "That's a shame. I really wanted to summon a spirit" Ash mumbled.

"It's fine! We can look for a different way to talk to a spiri-" the pencil moved so I shut up. "It's Charlie" Mark whispered. "Yeah, defiantly not the wind" James muttered, chuckling. Ash punched James's arm.

"Charlie Charlie do you like James?" Mark asked the "spirit". It moved to No. We snickered. "Will you kill James?" Mark asked. The pencil moved back to yes.

"Oh, fuck me" James mumbled, we kept laughing. "Have fun dying" Joe told him. James rolled his eyes, "Yeah, it'll be thrilling" he said.

Just then, the lights went out. "What?" "Uh oh." "James! It's coming for you!" "Oh, my god shut up, Will."

I squinted, trying to get my eyes to adjust to the pitch-black room. What's going on?" I questioned. I heard footsteps and someone bumping into me and making me knock over the Charlie Charlie pencils and paper. "No! Charlie!" Mark shouted.

"Get over yourself, Mark!" Will scolded him. "Does anyone have their phone on them?" Ash asked. "No." we all said in unison.

"My phone is on the couch" I told them. "Okay, I'm going over there now" Will said. I heard someone walking hen falling, "Fuck!" Will shouted. We all burst out laughing, "Will? What happened?" I asked him, walking in the darkness trying to get to him.

My foot tripped over his body making me tumble down onto him. "Ah! Sorry!" I quickly apologized. Will laughed, "It's fine. Here let me..." he put his hands on either side of my body to help lift me up.

"No, Will, that's not going to-" It was too late. When he helped me sit up my head hit Joe's leg, "Oh my god!" Joe shouted, he sounded so scared. "What?! What happened?!" James asked, now panicked because of Joe's voice. "My head hit Joe's leg" I told James.

"Joe! Don't do that! You sounded like you were getting murdered!" Ash yelled at Joe. "You try having something hit your leg in the darkness while you're trying to get some god damn light!" Joe defended himself.

I slammed my hand onto the couch cushion and started moving it around, trying to find my phone. The cold phone case hit my fingers and I smiled.

"I've got it!" I told them. I quickly opened up my phone and put on the flashlight. I looked around to see everyone scattered around. James and Mark were very close to the door, Joe was pressing himself up against the wall probably because of my head, Ash was where we left him, next to the counter, he probably never moved and Wilbur was still on the floor because I was pinning down his legs on accident.

I stood up and soon helped Will up. "Well, this sure is a fun late night" I said. "Who else wants to call it a night?" James asked. "Me" the rest of us said.

TIME SKIP

Will drove me home and insisted on walking me to the door. "Are you doing alright here alone with Charles?" Will asked me.

"It's alright. It is lonely sometimes but, you know..." I mumbled. "If you need anything just tell me" He said, his face laced with concern. I smiled at him, "You sound like someone I used to know" I told him. "Who?" he asked.

I shook my head, "It's not important. He just helped me a lot when I still lived with my mom" I explained. He smiled, "I'm glad I remind you of a good person" he said.

We stared at each other. He slowly walked closer to me, he held my hand and kissed it. "Have a good night" he whispered. "Night" I whispered back. he let go of my hand and I went inside the house.

I closed and locked the door and leaned on it, smiling to myself. What am i going to do with these boys?!

What a wacky Halloween.
