Ash's turn. We went to a nearby grocery store and started buying different snacks and drinks for a picnic. "Ooh, Ash" I said, he turned to me as I held up a wine bottle, "What do you say?" I asked him with a wink. He laughed, "Sure." I shook my head and put it back.

We paid for the things and set up the blanket at a nearby field. I smoothed out a couple wrinkles in the blanket and watched Ash as he flicked a grape up in the air and catching it in his mouth.

"How did you do that?" I asked him. "Oh, it's easy. You just..." he grabbed another grape and showed to me. He put it between his two fingers, flicked it up in the air, and caught it in his mouth. "Just like that!" He exclaimed with a toothy grin. "That didn't teach me anything" I grumbled.

Ash laughed, "Just try." He put a grape in my hand and I nodded. "As long as you promise you won't laugh" I said. "I promise."

I hesitated then flicked the grape up in the air, but my fingers didn't point directly up and I hit myself square on the nose. I slapped my hands over my nose as Ash burst out laughing. "You said you wouldn't laugh!" I shouted, a little embarrassed by the whole thing. "Awe, come on! It was funny! Try again" he encouraged me.

I glared at him before taking another grape. I put it between my index finger and thumb. "Like this?" I asked him. "Yeah, but you need to have your index finger a little behind the grape, like this." Ash positioned my fingers in the correct way.

"Okay, now flick?" I asked. He nodded and stared at me intently. I flicked it up and opened my mouth and closed my eyes, bracing for a grape to smack me. But nothing came into contact with my face. I opened my eyes and looked around, "Where is it?" I asked.

"Over there" Ash said, pointing to a patch of grass a couple feet away from the blanket. I groaned, not even close to my face" I mumbled and I reached over and grabbed it.

Ash picked up another grape. "Here, I'll toss it in your mouth" Ash said. "I feel like there is a 'That's what she said' joke in there somewhere" I said. Ash laughed and shook his head, "Anyone can turn anything dirty with enough willpower" Ash spoke. "Okay, grape me." I said, opening my mouth.

Ash flicked a grape at my mouth and it landed in my mouth. I raised my fists up in the air, "Hell yeah!" I exclaimed, we high fived. "Okay, okay. Do it again!" I exclaimed.

After a couple more grapes being tossed in each other's mouths, we started to eat more of the other foods we bought.

"Is this a good date?" Ash asked me. I nodded, "Yeah! I'd say so." "...was it better than Mark's date?" I laughed. "You guys have such different versions of dates it's really hard to compare them even if I wanted to and I don't" I told him.

He nodded, "Right, sorry for talking about it." "No, I get it. I'd be just as curious as you if I was in your position." I put my hand on his. He smiled and nodded. "I-" Ash got cut off by loud thunder. We looked up at the sky to see it no longer nice and sunny, rather instead dark and grey. "Shit" we said in unison.

Rain started to poor and Ash and I started to try and wrap up everything. "Just shove the grapes in the bag!" I shouted. I gasped as I saw lighting strike.

Ash panicked and pushed me away from the picnic spot. He threw everything on the blanket and balled up the blanket, grabbed my hand, and ran.

I laughed while Ash stayed silent and squeezed my hand tighter every time thunder struck. 'Ash! It's okay! Live a little" I exclaimed. Ash frowned, "No way I'm letting you catch a cold, remember on tour?" Ash asked me as we ran. "But it wasn't me who got sick!" "Whatever. Let's just get you out of the cold."

We went into a near-by café and looked around. We got a couple odd stares from some people because we were out of breath, soaking wet, and had a mystery blanket balled up under Ash's arm.

"Well, we could always finish up the date here" Ash said. I nodded and we took a table. Ash put the wet blanket on the table and unravelled it. "Sorry sir, but you can't have that in here. No outside food or drink" a worker said. "Oh, sorry" Ash balled in back up.

We walked out of the café and looked at each other, "I think I have an idea" I said.

TIME SKIP

"Not as cute as a park picnic, but still fun!" I spoke. Ash smiled and nodded; we stared out the giant window from the comfort of Ash's living room. We watched the rain poor. Lighting flashed followed by thunder, it made Ash flinch.

"You never told me you were scared of lighting" I said. "It never came up" Ash replied. "Well, let's get more things come up in conversation. Any other phobias?" "No, how about you? Other than cats, of course." "Mark told you about that!?" "He didn't have to! It's easy to tell if you're scared or not. I hope I don't see fear on your face often."

I smiled, "No. I don't know, maybe. Remember Charles?" Ash groaned and rolled his eyes. "Empty threats that Will believes in." He grumbled. I laughed, "You sure it's an empty threat?" "Yeah, Charles isn't stupid." "But you are, Ash." "Hey!"
