WILBUR POV

Christmas ended a couple days ago. It was honestly such a fun time with all the boys and Y/n. The most memorable part of the whole thing was Mark, Ash, Y/n, and I all came together and got Joe a bike for obvious reasons. "Maybe now you they can fear you and not the other way around!" I remember Y/n exclaimed when Ash brought the bike into the living room.

Our happiness with the day slowly faded throughout the days when the memories of the bar and Charles plagued all of our minds. He's still out there.

Not to mention it's been really easy to get on each other's nerves currently. Only Y/n has been able to keep their composure. They have been keeping me and the other boys separated as much as possible. And it's been what I can only assume exhausting for them.

They're currently napping in their bed while me and the rest of the gang try to regroup in the living room.

"Charles is going to hurt them. I know he is" Joe said. "No, he won't. He's cruel but he isn't stupid" Ash replied. I sighed and shook my head. "Guys? Are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?" Mark asked us.

I lifted my head and we all looked at each other. "We should tell them" Mark said. "Yeah, but I feel like we shouldn't tell them with all of us in the room. I bet it would be very intense then" Joe spoke. "Then only one of us goes and tells them" I suggested. They agreed. "Who should do it?" I asked. "Not me. "I'll do it." We all said no except for Mark. So, Mark it is.

Y/N POV

My shield is gone. I can't tell them to forget about the recent events because it's a holiday now. Shit, shit, shit. This is so sucky. This is all my fault, right? Or is it Charles's? Ugh! I can't deal with this!

"Y/n?" I lifted my head from my pillow and saw Mark there. He looked scared. Nervous. That made me even more scared than I originally was. "Can I talk with you?" he asked me. I slowly nodded, "Yeah, I guess."

I sat up and he sat down on the bed with me. "I don't know how to say this" Mark mumbled. I raised an eyebrow. "Is this about Charles?" I asked him. "No, it's...um..." he stared at me. You could see he was searching for the right words in his head. "I like you" he said. He cringed at what he said.

"No, I... I like, like you. I don't know how to say that without sounding like a toddler with a kindergarten crush but...I do. And so does Will, Joe, and Ash" Mark rambled.

My heart dropped. I was mortified. Shit. By the look on his face, he could tell I was mortified. "Are you okay?" he asked me. I slowly nodded. "Yeah...what? No, I'm great! Yeah!" "You don't look is" he said, giving me the cutest crooked smile ever.

"What is it?" He asked me, practically pleading at this point to know what was going on in my brain. "I like you too" I said, clasping my hands together making a loud noise. He froze. "Oh?" he responded. I nodded, "Yeah, but you see, I have a dilemma. I also like, like Will, Ash, and Joe too" I said. "Oh!"

I nodded and sighed, feeling defeated. Someone has it in for me up in heaven. I bet it's my dad if he is dead.

"So, what do you want to do? Everything is all your call" Mark said. I bit the inside of my cheek and stared at the hard wood floor under me.

TIME SKIP

Mark and I walked out of the bedroom. I folded my arms, feeling like a ruler. This idea was the best I've had in a while.

"Alright, listen up" I barked. I realized how loud and strict I sounded so when I spoke again, I softened my voice. "Mark told me that you all like me, and the thing is I might sort of like you guys back..." I mumbled, scratching the back of my neck, avoiding eye contact.

I gained confidence again and cleared my throat. "What I'm thinking is that we go on a date. Each of you guys go on a date with me" I spoke.

They looked around at each other. "This sounds like a game" Will said, a frown prominent on his face. "I don't know why you're acting all sad, Will. You've been on a date with them before! You have a head start on what they like on a date" Joe said.

"Maybe it is a game? A serious one. Winner gets me" I replied. "Alright. What about Charles?" Will asked me, getting up from the couch and sliding a hand in his pocket. "What?" I questioned.

"He's still out there. What if we see him?" Will asked me. "Will, that's a small chance-" "There's still a chance" Will cut off Mark. "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there" I spoke. Will stared at me, his eyes burning into my soul. It wasn't like the other times. I still did melt. But I melted out of uncomfortableness rather than comfort.

I nodded, "Right, well..." I looked next to me at Mark to see if he could make things not as tense. "May the odds be ever in your favour!" He shouted.
