FLASHBACK (THE BAR HOPPING NIGHT)

WILBUR POV

It was just me, Joe, Ash, Mark, James, and Aria. David was here for a little but then had to leave after a while. We were all having a great time! We also didn't shy away from making fun of James for only having water and virgin drinks.

The mood in the room shifted as soon as we saw Charles and some of his buddies walk into the pub. I immediately looked down at my drink. I cleared my throat an contained myself as much as I could.

"So, how is Y/n?" one of the guys asked Charles. Ash, Joe, Mark, and I's heads snapped towards the pool table where they were.

"I don't know. They have her now. The little pricks." "Oh, right. You aren't in communication with any of them, yeah?" "Well, after the fight Ash and I talked for two months more then left my life too which is fine" Charles responded to one guy.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Joe glare at Ash and Ash droop down in his seat. I didn't have time to also glare at Ash, Mark had the same idea as me.

"What happened?" A guy asked. "They got weak. Especially Will. Wilbur used to be pretty good when dealing with new people but with Y/n... he lets them walk all over him. James put a hand on my arm, "We should go" James said. "No" I replied, still not satisfied with what I heard.

And that's when he said it. It was like hearing a gunshot and then silence. He called Y/n a slur. I blinked a couple times in disbelief. In my time of knowing Charles, he would never say anything like that! Was he intoxicated?

That's when Mark got up, trudged over to Charles and punched him. Our entire table stood up, now more alert than before.

I knew exactly what was going to happen. Bar fight. I glanced at James before running to help Mark. Ash and joe soon coming along. I could barely feel the blows that one guy was throwing at me. Aria attempted to grab Ash's arm but James quickly swiped her away before she got hurt by a guy who hit Ash on his cheek. I could only think of two things. Y/n and Ash.

Joe was able to throw Charles on the ground. I looked over to see James and Aria gone. "You arseholes! You can never just let things go!" Charles shouted, before looking down at his bloodied hand. A friend helped him up.

"Don't forget I know everything about you four! And I know exactly where Y/n is because you're so predictable!" Charles exclaimed.

My eyes went wide before I got shoved into Joe and Mark by one of Charles's more fit friends. And just like that they bolted out of the bar. I turned around to stare at Ash. "You little shit!" I shouted, trying to go to beat the shit out of him but Joe and Mark pulled me away.

"Why did you keep talking to him?! What did you tell him?!" I shouted at Ash. Ash just stared at me, wide eyed. Blood dripped off his chin. He was panting.

I jerked my arms out of Joe and Mark's grasps and stormed out of the bar, eager to find Y/n before Charles does. And I have to warn Y/n of what might happen.

TIME SKIP (PRESENT TIME)

I sucked in my breath before walking to my door. I froze seeing the door slightly cracked. I just prayed that Y/n got one of my voicemails and took my advice and ran. I creaked the door open a little more so I could slide in with ease.

The house didn't feel like home. It felt like an unfamiliar maze, like when I first bought it. "Y/n?" I called out to them. No answer.

I walked downstairs. No Y/n. I went upstairs, still no Y/n. While walking back to the living room something in the bathroom caught my eye. Something was behind the shower curtain. "Y/n?" I walked into the bathroom. "It's okay, you can come out now..." I opened the curtain to see body soap and shampoo broken on the shower floor.

They're lids were opened spilling the contents of the bottles onto the shower floor. They were here. But I don't think they took Y/n. No. They couldn't have. Y/n would've put up more of a fight.

I called an Uber and went to Mark's place. I was surprised when Joe opened the door and stared at me. Both of us in destress and in a solid state of panic. He just hugged me tight. I didn't hold back my grip in the embrace too. When we pulled away, he wiped a lingering tear off his cheek.

"Do you think you'll ever forgive Ash?" Joe asked me. I stared at him, as emotionless as I possibly could. That's the first thing he says to me? What does he care?

"Do I have a choice?" I responded. Joe took a deep breath. "Do you think you'll ever forgive Mark?" "It would be pretty hypocritical of me to not" I admitted. Joe let me in his place. "Do you think they're alright?" I asked Joe. Joe nodded, "Y/n has to be alright" Joe said, looking up at me. I nodded. "You know what? I bet James has them. We should ask him" I said, taking out my phone.

I called James. "Will?" He spoke. "Hey! James. Is Y/n there?" There was a quiet sigh and then he started to talk, "No, Will. I had them but, they're gone. They left without my knowledge" James told me. My heart sank.

"Surely they are alright though" I said, my voice showing how desperate I was for any good news. "Can Mark, Joe, and I come over?" I asked him. "Yeah. Ash is here too" James warned me.

I swallowed a lump in my throat. "Okay. I'm coming over."
