Y/N POV

I lifted Ash's hoodie over my head and put it on. I grabbed the collar and shoved it under my nose and sniffed. It smelled like him. "Aladin?" Mark asked me. I shook my head, "No, not tonight" I replied. He nodded and clicked off of it.

For about a month now, Mark and I have had a movie night once every other week. From Chuckey to Legally Blonde we've watched a whole variety of movies.

"What about Disenchanted?" He asked me. "What? The new Enchanted sequel? Just watch the first one. The second is a waste of time" I told him. He nodded, "Enchanted it is." He searched it up in Disney Plus. "Can I be honest? I always hated the chipmunk in the movie" Mark admitted. I gasped, "What? But he's so cute!"

He clicked on the title of the movie. "Awe, I forgot how darling the dresses were" I mumbled. Mark laughed and turned to me, "Now that's cute" he commented.

I turned red and stuck my tongue out at him. "They're good dresses!" I exclaimed, pointing at the cartoon Giselle dance around. I stared at her. "She also has a good waist too..." I mumbled to myself, slowly covering my stomach with my hands.

Mark's laugh was so sudden and loud I jumped in fear. "Her waist?! That is not a waist, Y/n. That is a waist, and a great one at that" he said, moving my hands away from my torso.

I smiled at him, "Yeah, you're right" I agreed with him, nodding. I leaned my head on his shoulder and we continued to watch the movie.

"Oh, you show someone you love them with a beautiful song!" Giselle sang out, twirling around in the park. "Oh, no. No, no, no." Robert denied her speech, waving it off and following her.

"Do you think that's right?" Mark asked me. "What's right?" I questioned, looking up at him. "Singing to someone is a way you show someone you love them" Mark elaborated. I thought for a second, "Well, everyone has their own love languages...I think that's adorable but, to someone else that could be mortifying" I explained.

Mark nodded, "That's true" he mumbled. I exhaled, "What about you? Do you like it or hate it?" I asked him. He nodded, "Yeah, that's cute" he agreed with me. I nodded, 'We have good taste" I said, poking my own nose and giving Mark a sly grin.

He nodded, "Oh yeah. Speaking of what we like...have I convinced you that cats are amazing adorable creatures that can do no wrong?" Mark asked me. I laughed and shook my head, "Sort of. I just need a minuet to warm up to them when they first come up to me" I told him.

Mark hopped up from the couch and ran to the bedroom and came back holding Beans. I stared at him in disbelief. I should've seen this coming.

He put Beans on my lap and I froze. I looked at him for help but he just laughed and sat down next to me. "Help" I whispered. "You're fine-here" he mumbled, grabbing my hand and making me pet the cat. I stared at the scene cautiously.

Beans started to move and I immediately flung my hands up in the air in fear. Beans just stretched and went back to laying down on my lap. "I don't think Beans is the pussy here" Mark teased me.

I glared at Mark. "I have trauma from cats, dumb ass" I said. He laughed, "What did it do? Hurt your feelings?" he mocked me in a baby voice. I rolled my eyes. My grandma-before she died had three cats. Juno, Danny, and Nick. They were fucking assholes. Like you" I said, smiling innocently.

He grinned and shook his head. "Oh, come on. So what? Three mean cats, I bet five-year-old you managed. I mean, obviously you did since you're alive" he said. "I guess you're right" I mumbled, looking back down at Beans and slowly putting my hand on the cat's fur. I smiled as Beans started to purr. "Darling" I whispered.

It was around the ending of the movie. It was the ballroom scene and the cutest part started. The singer in the movie started to sing "So Close". Mark got up and held out his hand. "May I take this dance?" he asked me.

I stared up at him and nodded. I slowly put my hand on his and he lifted me up away from the couch. He immediately slid his hand on my waist and I put my free hand on his shoulder.

"A life goes by~ Romantic dreams must die~" the actor sang. Mark twirled me and then we went back to our previous slow dancing position.

In one part of the movie Robert starts to sing along to the song for Giselle while they danced. Mark leaned down to the side of my head where my ear was. His warm breath on my ear. "Oh, how could I face the faceless days~" he sang to me.

I smiled and heled onto him tighter. "So close, so close~ And still so far~" Mark sang with Robert and the singer on tv.

I pressed my face into his shoulder and closed my eyes. "Thank you, Mark" I whispered. "Of course," he replied in the same tone of voice. He kissed the side of my head and took a deep breath. I moved slightly away from him and he lifted his head from my shoulder and stared at me. I put my arms around his neck and smiled up at him.

"Y/n, I-" the movie made a loud noise making us both jump. Beans hopped off the couch, hissed at the tv, and then ran into the living room. We laughed at the interaction the cat had with the tv.

"What were you going to say?" I asked Mark. He smiled at me and shook his head. "It's nothing important" he replied.
