James sat on a park bench near by a pond. He closed his eyes and took in the fresh air and smiled. "James?! James is that you!?" he heard a familiar loud voice shout across the park. His smile turned into panic as he opened his eyes and saw Tommy running at him, full speed.
"Holy shit! Hey man!" Tommy shouted, standing in front of James. "Hey! You alright?" James asked Tom. "I'm good! You?" Tommy replied. "I'm okay."
"I'm with Ash! He's..." Tommy looked around, realizing he ditched Ash to run over to James. "Did you leave him alone?" James asked Tommy. "No, no. He's over there" Tommy said, pointing to Ash who was taking his time walking over to the two.
"James, when is your next gig?" Tommy asked James. "In a couple days actually." Tommy looked down at the floor, his face slightly guilty. "What do you want?" James asked him with a smug smirk, knowing exactly what was written all over Tommy's face.
Tommy looked up at James, surprised by his question. He regained confidence and smiled at James, "A new vlog! It's-" "Nope." "What!? Come on James! Please!" Tommy pleaded.
James shook his head, "I need my focus to be on my music for a little" he told Tommy. Tommy frowned and stared at the empty duck pond.
"Ash! How's it going, mate?" James asked Ash as he appeared behind Tommy. Tommy jumped, "Jesus! Ash! Give me a warning next time" Tommy shouted. Ash laughed, "I'm good! You?" "Great" James responded.
"James doesn't want to do the new vlog" Tommy whined. "Oh. What's this vlog?" Ash asked Tommy. "Another water course one" Tommy replied. "Oh, fun! Who's doing it?" Ash asked, crossing his arms and adjusting his stance.
Tommy took a deep breath. "Phil, me, Toby, and now I guess not James" Tommy said, counting on his fingers.
Ash raised an eye brow. He had an idea. An amazing, dreadful, weird idea. "I have someone who might be interested in going" Ash said. "Who? Y/n?" James questioned. "Who's Y/n?" Tommy asked the two boys.
"A person that Charles bought off Facebook Marketplace" James replied, Ash nodded. Tommy burst out laughing. "What?! Baha!" he couldn't control his loud ass laughs. It caught the attention of the other people at the park.
James and Ash shared a glance and then looked back at Tommy who was hunched over laughing. Once he controlled himself, he looked back at James. His face dropped when he saw James' face unamused.
"Wait. Are you serious?" Tommy asked them. "Yeah. Y/n L/n" Ash confirmed. Tommy's face dropped. "And you never told me about them!?" he shouted. James laughed, "Don't look at me! Look at Ash, Will, Mark, and Joe" James said, pointing to Ash.
Tommy stared at Ash with an almost cartoonish angry face. "Will was the one who wanted them to go under everyone's radar so don't look at me" Ash told him.
TIME SKIP
WILBUR POV
I sat at my computer. I was editing and Y/n was in the kitchen putting together a resume. I heard a loud aggressive knock at the door.
I jumped at the sound. "Y/n?! Who's at the door?" I shouted to them. "I don't know" they shouted back. I heard them opened the front door. "James! Ash!" they exclaimed. I felt easy again. I rested my head back in my chair. "Hello!" a familiar obnoxious voice said to Y/n.
I hopped out of my seat and rushed to the front door. Just as I thought. Tommy. "Tommy, what are you doing here?" I asked him. "I'm introducing myself to Y/n right now. Don't be rude and interrupt me" he replied, glaring at me then smiling back at Y/n.
My attention went toward Y/n. They were smiling and listening to Tommy's introduction. "I'm Y/n-but you already know that" they replied laughing off their mistake. My eye got softer. God, they're adorable.
"Here, come on in!" Y/n let them into the house. They took off their coats and followed Y/n into the kitchen as Y/n started to put away different bits and bobs. "So, Y/n. Ash told me you watched a couple of my vlogs" Tommy said.
"Oh, yeah! They're pretty funny" Y/n complimented his videos. Tommy beamed. He was so happy to get Y/n's honest compliment. They said it so casually it didn't seem like they were trying to oversell or undersell their statement. "Thank you!" he thanked them. Y/n glanced at Tommy and flashed him a smile. "Yeah!"
Tommy blinked a couple times, trying to remember the point he was trying to get to. "Right. Do you want to be in my next vlog?" he asked Y/n
I furrowed my eyebrows. Trying to think if it was a good idea or not. I didn't know the answer to that question to be honest. "Um..." Y/n glanced at me for a second opinion. I just gave them a shrug. The best way to give them my honest opinion without words.
"Yeah. I'm down" Y/n agreed. "Great! I just need to ask Phil" Tommy said, pulling out his phone. "I thought you already told Phil" James said, raising an eyebrow.
"No. But I know he's going to say yes" Tommy told James. I laughed, "Tommy!" I scolded him. "What?! It's true!" Tommy shouted. "True doesn't mean it's right."
