Natasha POV

I was walking past some of the guest rooms to the elevator when suddenly I heard some rock song. I figured it was Tony, but I didn't know why he would be in a random room. The blue door was cracked open so I peeked in. But, I didn't expect what I saw.

There was a boy. He seemed to be around 17 or 18. He had jet black, messy hair. It was windswept, like he just stepped off the beach. He also had a swimmers build from what I could see and a deep tan, almost like he spent his days in the sun.

I couldn't see his eyes but his jaw was sharp and I could see the tip of something that looked like a scar poking out of the neckline of his sweatshirt.

He was lying on the bed, sitting on his phone. He must've been really interested in whatever was on it, because he didn't even notice me. He looked up like he heard something and I got a glimpse of his eyes.

They immediately caught my attention. They were sea green, the exact color of the ocean. They seemed broken, like the guy had been through hell and back. He looked around but didn't see me and went back to his phone. Stupid teenagers.

There was a duffel bag and backpack at the foot of his bed. He got up and pulled a binder and pencil out of the backpack. Then, he went to the desk by the door and sat in a chair. I had to creep around to the wall and put my ear against the wall so that he didn't see me.

I heard the ring of a phone, and then a sound like someone picking up. The music got turned down slightly, just enough that I could hear a voice.

"Hey, Wise Girl," I heard a male voice say, I figured that must be the guy.

"Hey, Seaweed Brain," I heard a girl's voice this time. "What do you need?"

"I was just wanting to catch up." I heard the guys voice say again.

The girl sighed, "Okay? I guess I have a few minutes. Are you alright, Percy?"

"I guess. Thanks, Annie," the guy, apparently Percy, said. I could hear the relief in his voice. "Honestly, I'm feeling really out of the loop. And I haven't heard any familiar voices in what seems like forever."

"Don't call me Annie." I heard the girl say, like they had been over this a thousand times. "And don't worry. Soon you'll be able to come back to camp. And when you do, we will have organized a flash mob for you."

"Flash mob? To what?" Percy asked.

Annie said, "Steely Dan."

"You can't flash mob to Steely Dan!" Percy said.

"Yes, you can!" Annie argued.

"That would be a horrible flash mob." Percy stated.

"Whatever." Annie sighed.

"Wait, where are you?" Percy asked.

"Camp. I got finished early with my meetings and came back to go over my notes and study and stuff." Annie explained.

"Oh."

"Where are you?" She asked.

"At my uncles tower. He's super rich. I have to live with him until I am legally an adult, remember? It blows." Percy explained.

"Oh, right. What's he like?" The girl asked.

"Ugh, don't get me started. He seems like every privileged white male in the world. Like that guy in The Shining. You know, the dude that Jack had the meeting with to get the job thing?" Percy said like he absolutely despised the guy.

So, this is what the kid is doing here. He must've been someone's nephew. Tony's, most likely.

"-seriously, Annabeth! He's that horrible!" Percy continued.

"I'm sure he's not that bad. Do you know his name or have you just been calling him some stupid nickname in your head?" Annabeth said. So, that was her name.

"Tony Sharp, or something. It completely sucks that I have to live with him." Percy replied, I could almost hear him rolling his eyes.

"Tony Stark?" Annabeth asked, ignoring the last comment.

"Yeah, that I think." Percy said, sighing at the end. I could faintly hear wheels squeaking on wood. The kid's probably rolling around in a chair.

"Ohhhh. I know who you mean. He and some friends saved the world a couple months ago." The girl said like it was no big deal.

"Cool." Percy said, sounding sarcastic. What was with this guy?

"Oh, hey Percy!" A new voice said, this time male.

"Hey, Nico!" Percy said. "Is everyone at camp except for me?!"

"Yeah, basically," the new boy, Nico, said. "Where are you anyway? You said you were coming this weekend."

"Yeah, sorry. I forgot I had to meet my uncle and move in with him this weekend. But, on another note, how's the seminar going with Will?" Percy replied, singing the last part in a song song voice.

"It's going fine." Nico replied, sounding very uncomfortable.

"Awwww, is baby Neeks completely hating the training seminar?" Percy teased.

"Don't call me Neeks!" Nico said, very angrily, back at him.

"Sorry." Percy said not sounding sorry. Nico just grunted in reply.

"But, how is the seminar going?" Percy asked, this time sounding genuinely interested.

"None of your business!" Nico said.

"So, bad then?" Percy guessed.

"Fuck off," Nico yelled, his voice fading, indicating he was walking away.

"Okay, bye, love ya, little cuz!" Percy yelled.

"I'm older than you!" Nico shouted back.

"Alrighty." Annabeth said, obviously amused. "Do you have any plans for the summer? I want to see you! And I heard that Thalia and the hunters are coming by soon." Then the music turned up and the voices drowned out.

"What are you doing?" A voice whispered to the side of me. I turned and saw Tony.

"Eavesdropping on your nephew." I replied while turning back to the wall.

"How did you know he was my nephew?" Tony asked, very confuddled.

"By eavesdropping," I said back, rolling my eyes. He was really slow sometimes.

"Oh, okay. Well, I just came to tell him dinner was here." Tony said, backing away from the wall and heading towards the door.

As he knocked I started walking away. I could just hear the music turning off and Percy saying goodbye to that girl.

Third chapter done!! It's getting harder to write! This is the farthest I've ever gotten in a book. Just letting any readers know that since I've been updating every single day, I won't always be doing that. I said this in chapter 1 I'm pretty sure but I'm going to try and update at least once a week unless it's a holiday or something. I am also going to try and make this fanfiction as non-cliche as possible! I won't be recruiting Percy to the avengers or introducing the avengers to Percy's demigod life unless I absolutely have no other ideas! And if I do it will be later-ish in the book.
