3rd POV

Most everyone had left the tower. Some people were on vacation, some others were on missions, some just didn't want to be there.

Percy and Annabeth had stayed, along with Nico, Thalia, and Grover. Will had also joined them. Nico had stayed to keep Percy company, and because he wanted to.

Will had come to obviously spend time with Nico. Grover had nowhere else he really needed to be, and Percy and him were a package deal. Annabeth also stayed for obvious reasons.

Percy had to stay. He didn't want to go to camp. He just didn't. He couldn't go to his parents apartment, which had been left in his name. He now legally owned it since he is now a legal adult. But it had too many memories that he couldn't deal with right now.

Thalia had stayed for reasons unknown. She partly wanted to stay for Annabeth. She was going to have to go back to the Hunt soon, but the girl wanted to spend a day or two more with the daughter of Athena.

Clint was back with his wife and kids. Natasha was on an important mission. Thor was on Asgard. Bruce was at a convention for gamma radiation science or a convention for "super smart nerdy science-y people" in the words of Tony.

So in total it was Steve, Tony, Wanda (who barely left her room and mostly kept to herself and at most talked with Clint when he was here), Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Nico, Will, and Thalia left in the tower.

Currently, Tony was sitting in his lab. Alone and working on his new project. He had been working on developing a new suit, but one that would have some...special capabilities.

Steve was down in the training room. Just working out, doing what he usually did.

Wanda was in her room, reading a new book called Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. She had some classical music playing lowly in the background. Only a couple minutes before, she had gone downstairs and grabbed some cookies that were made earlier.

She didn't know who made them, but they were a very weird color: blue. Which she didn't think was a normal color for chocolate chip cookies to be.

Nico and Will were sitting in the living room. Cuddling on a couch and watching The Sixth Sense. Will had been saying the same lines as Malcolm but in an exaggeratedly deep voice. It's safe to say, Nico was cracking up.

Thalia was sitting on a chair that had been pulled slightly away from the couch. Not enough to be comical, but enough to notice. She was sharpening one of her daggers.

Grover was sitting on a sofa to the right of Will and Nico's. Chomping on a tic can, simultaneously eating a cheese enchilada.

Percy and Annabeth came walking in, hand in hand. Annabeth was talking animatedly about a new idea she had about a temple for Psyche.

"-with an absolutely prodigious dome on top.
Carvings of butterfly wings, and some gold details adorning the base and very top of the dome. The whole building is made of ivory and white marble. The door can have some-"

Percy was staring affectionately—smiling goofily and lovingly; his eyes slightly glazed—at her. He blinked, apparently trying to pay attention. His eyes cleared and he nodded along.

Percy spotted Thalia. His smile faded and he stopped in his tracks. Annabeth noticed after she was dragging his hand forward. She stopped talking. Looking at him, then Thalia.

Her smile faded too. Her eyes narrowed. Then she walked over to the sofa Grover was sitting on and sat down. Percy sat down on the right area of the couch Nico and Will were on.

Thalia looked up at the noise. Spotting Percy. She glared and looked back at her dagger.

"Oh, hey! I love this part!" Percy spoke up, looking at the tv. A bright smile showing in his face once again.
