3rd POV

It was somehow 6am and Percy and Nico had shadow travelled back to NYC. Nico had offered to travel them to the tower but Percy refused.

"I want ice cream." He said.

"They have ice cream there." Nico argued.

"Yeah, but there's this really good ice cream shop on W 34 near the Empire State Building, and usually I'm not one to go near that area for obvious reasons. But, I'm really craving this ice cream and they have this amazing flavor, the Cookie Monstah, it's literally actually pronounced like that. Anyway it's vanilla ice cream but blue! With cookie chunks! Did I mention it's blue! So can you-" Percy started to explain.

"Okay okay! I can travel to the city." And now here they were, walking throughout the city.

Percy had gotten his ice cream, and wolfed it down in less than 5 minutes. His head still felt a bit weird, and he had a cough, but he had grown used to the pain.

Nico had opted to get a triple chocolate, chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and chocolate chunks of brownie.

Nico also ate his more sophistically than Percy.

They were somewhere between Bryant Park and Central Park, after stopping in a store to pick up some new socks for Percy (don't ask why they needed them.)

"Why aren't we just going to the tower?" Nico asked.

"The tower is in this direction." Percy responded.

"Yeah but we went the opposite way earlier. We're headed toward Central Park, not the tower. Why are you avoiding going back?" Nico questioned.

"I am not avoiding going back. I am simply wanting to enjoy the nice weather and take a walk in the park." Percy defended.

"It's 40 degrees and you've been complaining about the cold almost the entire time we've been here." Nico said.

"I want to take a walk in the park. And it's more like 50 degrees." Percy walked directly beside Nico and almost ran into a pole before Nico pushed him out of the way.

"Why do you want to walk around Central Park? You usually say that it's boring because you've been there so much." Nico stated.

"I've just had a change of heart? I'm in the mood." Percy's response sounded more like a question.

"Whatever." Nico rolled his eyes.

He wasn't going to get anything out of Percy. He was one of the most complicated people Nico had ever met. Sometimes, you could read him as easily as an open book. Other times, he's as reticent as a locked safe.

They reached the park by 6:30 and were now near the east side of Cleopatra's Needle.

Percy spotted Steve running fast, closer to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Percy started whistling the theme song from Rocky.

Nico turned slowly to face him, "Is that Gonna Fly Now from Rocky?"

"Look." Percy pointed.

"Huh. He a runner, he a track star. Let's go meet him." Nico started jogging to him.

"Wait! I don't like the Metropolitan Museum of Art! Bad memories! Don't need anymore demon math teachers!" Nico didn't hear him, or was just ignoring him.

Percy looked around helplessly, and took off after his cousin.
