After a heroic effort by Mike Borkowski last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to finish the weekend series with the UMass Minutemen tonight. With 10:39 left in the first period, Matthew Kessel scored to make it 1-0 Minutemen. With 1:47 left in the first period, Jake Kulevich scored short handed to tie the game 1-1. Alex Evin and Fillip Lindberg matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll skate to an 1-1, first intermission tie. With 1:17 left in the second period, Eric Faith scored to make it 2-1 UMass. Evin and Lindberg matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 for the visitors from Amherst heading to period number three. With 10:17 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored to tie the game 2-2. With 3 seconds left in the third period, Robbie Bourdon scored to make it 3-2 Colgate! Alex Evin finished off the Minutemen and Colgate sweeps the weekend thanks to a 3-2 win! Colgate improved to 6-1-0 on the season!
