After a great effort a couple of days ago, the defending national champions head to Boston, Massachusetts to play the Northeastern Huskies on Tuesday night at Matthews Arena. With 8:14 left in the first period, Robbie Bourdon scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 1:10 left in the first period, Neil Shea scored to tie the game 1-1. Alex Evin and Connor Murphy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand after one period of play in Boston. With 8:36 left in the second period, Riley Hughes scored to make it 2-1 Huskies. With 39 seconds left in the second period, Nick Prockow scored on the power play to tie the game 2-2. Evin and Murphy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 remains our score heading to period number three. With 13:09 left in the third period, Tylor Spink scored to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 2:17 left in the third period, Tyler Madden scored to tie the game 3-3. Evin and Murphy matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 3-3 tie between Colgate and Northeastern. Evin and Murphy matched zeros in overtime so, we'll skate to a 3-3,overtime tie. Colgate shifted to 6-1-1 on the season.
