CHAPTER 5:
Charlotte hurriedly turned away, but could almost feel his eyes lingering on her for a couple seconds.
She was determined not to look back. She wouldn't look back. He was still staring at her. Why? It wasn't that she was unattractive, but she didn't think she was necessarily pretty either.
She was a little below average height, with raven colored hair trailing down her back, ending a little over halfway down. She was really pale, she didn't know why, she loved the sun.
Unlike Melly, who's idea of a great day was never leaving the computer.
Her eyes were a bright, pale blue. She loved the color. They were the sky streaked with gray. A blue greenish tinge around the middle. It was the only thing she really enjoyed about her appearance.
He was still staring. Why wouldn't he stop? Whatever. She would not turn around. Nope. No no no. Why was he though, it was disconcerting. No matter what, she wouldn't turn around. No.
She turned around.
Their eyes made contact across the tables. Time slowed down enough to decide his eyes were more green than blue.
Time stayed that way long enough for him to wink again and turn around.
Charlotte turned around hurriedly.
Again.
Guys.
What is with them?
She wasn't sure, but he sure was nice to look at.
Oh well. Her and Melly would take him on a tour of the neighborhood later.
She wanted to know if his voice was as pretty as he was.
