TW!! SH, blood, bruises.

Y/N... Y/N!" A distorted said. You knew that voice. Soft, familiar... calming. Your head was pounding though it was currently obtainable.

"Y/N. I need you to open your eyes for me darling." The voice said. It was a woman. You knew that voice!

"Y/N please" the woman begged.

"Open your eyes love! Please. Y/N!" You could hear her cry. Alma! The voice. Her voice. It was Alma's voice. Suddenly a pain shot through your body making you open your eyes gasping for air. She was bleeding.

"Yr... bleed'n" you tried to tell her reaching a hand to her face. She was on her knees but soon lifted your head and then whole body bridal style. Your head pounded and you groaned from the pain all over your body. She was limping you could tell. You tried to roll out of her arms not wanting to cause her any pain, she didn't take that well and threw you over her shoulder. Both of you groaned and her leg threatened to falter. She seemed to stop walking. Her breath was shaking.

"Give me one second..." she said taking a deep breath. Though she seemed to have trouble with her breathing, and it probably didn't help with you over her shoulder. She suddenly threw of her heals and took a big step. Almost as if she stepped over something. You blinked to clear up your vision, and once Alma had stepped over the -whatever that was- you came to realise it was Paul. You cried out. You didn't know why but it hurt. Everything hurt. Everything. She walked into the still open apartment and threw you onto the couch collapsing soon after.

"Alma!" You cried out. But blacked out before you could consider getting up.

When you opened your eyes you sat up abruptly from the soft surface. You where gasping for air, but you couldn't call for help. Where was Paul? Where was Alma? This didn't look like the apartment!

"WHERE THE HELL IS SHE!" You almost screamed before rolling out of the bed.

"Ow!" You said your body soar. You felt tears in you eyes but didn't want to cry when you heard footsteps. That didn't sound like Paul... noor Alma. You had managed to crumble up instead of  your face being planted on the floor.

"Miss peregrine i think she... might be awake?" Said a girl. Miss? Only her children called her miss peregrine. You heard footsteps again. It sounded like Alma's pace but there was an uneven rhythm. A limp. And no clicking of heals. The step sounded soft. like fabric.

"Did she fall!"... Alma! That was Alma's voice.

"Alma!" You almost cried out. The woman rushed to you throwing herself on her knees.

"Y/N" she said tears threatening to brim over.

"Thank you Emma would you tuck the last few in" Alma said. So you were back at the home. You struggled to get up but launched at her when you did.

"I thought you died!" You cried out.

"ME?!" She yelled almost offended at your comment.

"Have you seen- were you there!" She said moving away from you and looking your whole body over. You looked down and saw bruises and cuts.

"He- he woke up again and... got creative..." she said looking away.

"I'm sorry i- i awoke when i heard you scream i must have passed out- but he... he was cutting into your skin with a knife and i- I couldn't- I wasn't" she said rambling. She was crying but you didn't notice right away as you had just pulled up your sleeves finding everything she said to be true. You wanted to cry. Well not really. Alma looked up confused when she heard you chuckling.

"I'm sorry!" You said laughing trying to contain it.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Alma shouted landing a slap across your face. As soon as she had done it she lulled her hands in front if her mouth.

"I- I'm- omg!" She said but you quickly grabbed her hands.

"No no no! I'm fine i- omg" you said crying looking at the wound all over your body.

"I was always afraid they'd scar!" You said and she seemed to understand. Of course she did, when didn't she? You lay your head on her lags and she calmed down, at the same time you were calming down. Her taloned hand stroking through your hair.

"I'm here. Everything will be fine." She said and you eventually closed your eyes.
