(A/N: I'm in the mood for blood and gore... but don't worry. I'll go easy on the book! For now... also the picture is one of my favourites<3

You woke up with someone screaming which made you open your eyes abruptly. Alma was still sleeping... on the floor, beside you. You heard the child call out again. It was probably Claire judging the voice.

"MISS PEREGRINE!!!" she screamed, and you stumbled to the door.

"shshsh... what is it sweetie" you asked lifting up the girl, who was light as a feather. She giggled looking at you with a playful smile.

"I was looking for you" she said, and you gave her a confused smile.

"no... you were calling for miss peregrine" you said still a bit confused, as Claire wasn't one to make up lies.

"yes!" said the girl sure of herself making you sigh.

"would you care to clarify?" you asked her. What you didn't know was that the answer would shock you as much as a wildfire.

"well, you are married. And miss peregrine would want her last name to remain" the girl said, causing you to almost drop her.

"excuse me what now" you said, making her laugh, just then Emma and Olive came around the corner laughing their... behinds of.

"you should have seen your face" Emma said holding one hand on her stomach from laughing so much.

"oh, you two!" you laughed before setting the little girl down and chasing after them, making them scream and laugh harder. You chased them all the way outside before all three of you collapsed under the tree, laughing as loud as ever. Once you'd all calmed down you noticed Emma looking at you with a skeptical frown.

"what happened to your arm?" she said making you look down at your arm... well shit! You just now realized that you were wearing a short, sleeved shirt. Also how did you get that! You had been wearing a dress... did Alma- no!

"I- uh" you said covering the deep red cuts on your arms.

"Y/N!" someone shouted.

"the bird" said Emma dramatically before grabbing Olive's hand and running of. You looked down forgetting everything about Alma. Shit. You would need to cover that up. Long sleeves! But it's hot outside. Makeup. Maybe Alma had something, but then again you two didn't have the same skin tone.

"Somebody there" the voice snapped you out of your trance making you look up.

"OH MY-" you shouted seeing how close she was to your face. You covered your face with your hands feeling the blush creep up your neck.

"Apologies, I didn't mean to scare you love" she said. You removed your hands and sat up smirking at her.

"What? Is something the matter?" she asked confused.

"No, nothing... love" you said smiling even harder seeing how flustered it made her when she realized. You walked off leaving the woman a flustered mess.

"What was that!" Emma said almost jumping you when you reached the front door.

"What ever do you mean" you said shrugging it off.

"That!" Olive joined in pointing her hand towards Alma who was now playing with Bronwyn and Claire.

"Still don't know what you're talking about" you said with a playful smile and continued up the stairs to your room. Once you had closed the door you walked over to your closet and grabbed a navy blue cardigan and your short sleeved silk dress. The outfit was similar to Emma's except the color... which matched Almas usual outfit perfectly. You got dressed and walked out again, being able to relax because most of the cuts and bruises weren't showing anymore.

"Y/N?" you heard Alma call from the kitchen. You had been on your way out but turned around and walked into the kitchen.

"yes birdie?" you said regretting it as soon as the words came out of your mouth. Alma turned around looking at you with a curios grin.

"what now?" she said smothering her smile from growing.

"I- nothing" you said walking over.

"you needed something?" you asked and she got serious again.

"yes! We should probably try to figure out your peculiarity!"

"oh-"

________

Yeah I just realized Y/N doesn't have any knowledge of her peculiarity yet... hehe yeah. Enjoy this happy chapter:)
