The walk back to the loop was pleasantly nice. You and Alma were walking hand in hand and the sun was setting. You soon enough reached the beach when Alma looked at you with a playful grin, before setting of running.
"Hey" you shouted before running after her eventually reaching her and jumping at her making both of you fall to the sand, you on top of her. You were laughing until it slowly faded away. Both of you were caught in a trance. Her blue eyes were taking in every inch of your face before wandering to your lips. You leaned closer as she did the same. You could practically feel her lips. Her breath gave you shivers all over until finally... your lips touched. Your world exploded with color and your stomach was doing backflips. But wait- you weren't gay? She wasn't gay!? You pulled away in shock which you quickly regretted seeing confusion then hurt on the woman's face when she saw your expression.

You got off of her and she managed herself. On the rest of the way home there was a killing silence. You wanted to say something... but were you gay? Was she gay? How would the children react to this? No. it just wouldn't work!... though you wanted it to so badly.
