Peaceful moments

-4 month time skip-
You woke up to Alma getting dressed at her dresser and got up quietly. Once you were behind har you grabbed her from behind and threw her on the bed. She let out a small scream as you did so and took you with her in the fall. You landed on top of her and felt her heart racing in her chest. Both of you laugh and you're happy you came back to her.

"Now finish getting dressed, blue bird" you tease making her cheeks tinge with pink.

You grab a white sweater and a white skirt and head down. Lilly came down the stairs with Emma and they looked at you confused.

"Where's Miss Peregrine?" Emma asks and you can't help but smirk.

"She ram into some outfit trouble" you say simply before turning around and making the pancake batter. Just as you were about to heat up the oven someone wrapped their arms around your waist.

"I'll get you back for that, Little bird" she whispers in your ear. You just hum and turn to her. You gave her a peck on the lips before leaving and saying.

"You better not" she smirks at your playful behaviour before finishing the pancakes. You helped set the table and soon enough everyone were seated at the table. Alma sits in one end of the table and you in the other. She seemed awfully nervous about something and you wanted to check on her but Millard was telling you about his fear of spiders and you didn't want to invalidate that. Alma then clanged her glass and Emma was smiling widely. What was going on.

"Children please lift your plates" she said and they did as told. This was planned. She steps on the table and walks to you.

"Join me dear?" She asks and you take her stretched out hand and climb up on the table. She looked at you nervously which was a surprise from her usually composed self, and you gave her a reassuring smile.

"Y/N" she says her voice shaking. Okay this was making you nervous!

"Y/N ever since you came to the loop we have all been happier. I have been happier. You filled a whole I didn't even know existed and i will be forever thankful for this." She says almost making you tear up.

"I want you to be with me forever" she says and when she kneels down your eyes tear up.

"Y/N Gry... will you marry me?" She says almost crying herself and you lunge at her.

"Yes!" You cried out taking against the ring. Everyone was cheering and you saw Emma and Enoch giving each other a high-five while others were hugging. You look back at Alma who you were still on top of, and kissed her.

"I love you too Blue bird" you say crying from you. She cups your face before kissing you once again. And you couldn't be more grateful for talking that walk years ago.

Yes, this is the end but fear not! As i have already started the next book. Updates will probably be slow because i also did not want to end this book! But if i keep going it'll get to crazy.
