Three weeks.

Three fucking weeks pass.

The first day you stopped talking to the Blondie it was fun seeing his reaction when you didn't automatically plow through the hallways to talk to him but after awhile it just wasn't fun anymore?

You passed each other like everyday strangers, continuing on in your separate conversations when you and your friends would pass each other in the halls

"Morning Kozume" you greet

"You say something?" he doesn't even acknowledge you, simply looking down at his phone—slipping his hair behind his ear. Petty ass bitch.

"Nothing at all" you smile all smug even though you kinda just wanna throw him.

"You've been doing this for three weeks, you gonna explain to me what the fuck I just missed" Kuroo wouldn't have found that reaction very surprising if it was anyone else talking to Kenma but since he responded to you like that he was kinda lost.

"Nothing important" you drop your tray in front of you letting it clatter onto the table as your smile grows wide

"You're looking really scary today" he chuckles

"You noticed?" You squeal

"Are you going on a 'no bugging Kenma' diet?"

"Yeah let's call it that"

"Ya'll aren't fuck buddies?"

"I've already told you that we've never done anything" why were you even lying about it? At this point it's just a long running gag simply because Kuroo didn't pick up on the sarcasm you gave him when he asked why you were at Kenma's house the first time you hooked up.

"Yeah I know but the tension kinda tells a different story" he eyes Kenma from the far side of th eatable "look he looks so sad"

"He just looks like Kenma"

"Where'd you come from?!"

"From the Kenma fan club, where else" Koko actually sits next to you this time. In lighter news, you think she's starting to warm up to you after you saving her ass not too long ago. All in a days work of the wonderful Y/N of course but seriously that took some work.

"He's literally normal what are you on about" she rolls her eyes

"I know a broken heart when I see one" Kuroo swipes away a fake tear

"Actually shut up" Natsu groans, head down since she's already cleared her tray

"I'm playing—but seriously, he won't tell me what's his deal with you" he sighs "me, his favorite person in the world"

"That's scary" you giggle. Kenma's always been Kuroo's friend before the rest of you so hearing that was a shocker.

"He's kinda cute when he's all alone like that"

"Alright now, I'm just now starting to like you" you send her a cautious look and her eyes widen till that look of hers simmers down into something cocky.
