"Do you think the people that live here are used to all of this?" I ask Mattheo as we walk through Central Park.
"Used to what exactly?" He asks
"Everything, the noise, the amount of people, the buildings." I say as I look around, we walk by a lake with tiny boats
in it, some children are controlling them. It's cute.
"I think they do." He says
"What if they don't? What if it gets too overwhelming once in a while?" I ask
"I am fond of the way your brain works." He says
"What?" I ask confused
"You reflect your thoughts on other people, in order to ask a question you might not even want the answer to." He says, he could be right.
"So... answer."
"It might, but I think everyone could get used to everything." He says
"Even if it's overwhelming?"
"What's so overwhelming love?" He asks
"This, you, me, thinking you found friends that actually care and than finding out they don't in the slightest." I answer truthfully as we sit down on a bench.
"They do care." He says
"How? How should I know that?" I ask
"You can't." He responds
"It's just too much Mattheo." I say as he wraps his arms around me.
"It will be alright darling."
"Will it?" I ask "I am looking for a woman that made my life a living hell, but she's still my mother so I want to know her. My brother has betrayed me and thinks that I think the world revolves around me but I will always love him. My best friend is dead and I haven't seen or talked to his brother in forever and my bloody nightmares won't stop." I ramble
"Are you sure you want to meet her?" He asks, making me doubt.
"No, I don't. I just want her to know what she missed out on."
"You want to make her regret the choice she made?"
"Exactly"
"I'll invite her to dinner." He says as he grabs his phone out of his pocket and he dials a number.
"You have her number?" I question, of course he has.
"I just wanted you to be sure if you actually wanted this love." He says
"Dinner huh? Was that the surprise?"
"I'll move the surprise to tomorrow, she's not ruining it." He says and I chuckle
"Still want to go shopping though?" I question with a smile, I love shopping.
It's like therapy.

"Of course, you owe Pansy two pairs of heels don't you?" He asks
"No I don't, I just haven't given them back to her yet." I respond
"I guess it's time I get you your own ones." He says
"I have money you know." I say as I get up and take his hand.
"I know that, but since I do too I'm paying." He annoys me and smirks.
"Hell no." I say as we walk further.

"Do you want kids?" I ask as I look at the children running around. Fuck was that too soon? I didn't mean it like that, I was just genuinely interested.
"I know you didn't mean it like that love." He says and he laughs
"Stop reading my mind or I'll hex you." I say as I push him, he almost trips and I laugh loudly.
"With the right person, yes."
"Who's that person?"
"Probably... Astoria." He says sarcastically with a smirk
"You want to die don't you?" I say and we both laugh.
"Mini me's." I say with a smile
"No my genes will take over and they will look like me." He says
"Fuck you." I reply
"Sure, when?"

We laugh as we walk out of the park and call a cab to go to fifth avenue. To do some shopping.
"I have to get everyone presents." I say as we get in.
"So you are going back." He says
"Just to visit." I sigh
