Once in your dorm room, you quickly made a b-line for your nightstand taking your pocket knife, opening the door quietly so as to not disturb the other girls and your dog sleeping. You make your way down the winding hallways till reaching the front door. Slipping out and walking outside, the air is cold against your warm skin. Continuing to walk you search for a place to be alone, not knowing that Lady Lesso was watching you from her office window. Wondering what you were doing outside she grabbed her coat, leaving her cane, and locked her office before making her way down the two flights of stairs and out the main entrance. Following you from a distance, you made your way into the blue forest. Finding a large tree to sit by, the leaves and branches creating a cover over you, as the red haired dean lost sight of you in the shadows.

Taking your pocket knife out you lift your sleeve, exposing your arm. With no hesitation you draw the knife across your wrist, blood pooling on your arm. "Maybe Lesso was right, maybe it's better if I leave this place, all I do is get in the way." Continuing on your arm is covered in fresh cuts, blood running down your arm. You pull your sleeve down, not caring if the blood seeped through considering that your shirt was black. You go to stand but immediately use the tree as a support as you try to reorient yourself with your surroundings. The world is spinning around you as you try to walk back to the castle. Meanwhile, Lesso had been walking through the dark garden in search of you, to be unsuccessful. It wasn't until she heard the crunching of leaves that she saw a silhouette walking slowly, swaying side to side. Quietly making her way over, she noticed that it was you. Speeding up to catch up with you, she grabbed your arm, turning you around, a mad look on her face. The look quickly disappeared when she saw your lidded eyes, a dazed look on your face.

She had promised herself that she wouldn't get attached but something was drawing her to you. "Y/N can you hear me, I need you to tell me what happened." She said quietly, crouching down in front of you, gently taking your chin in her hand. "I'm fine." You snapped back. "I'm just going to bother you. Then you will just leave again like you did before." You reply back to the redhead, feelings of hurt and anger washing over you. "I'm sorry about before darling, I didn't want to be close with anyone, but there is something that is drawing me to you, it scares me, but what scares me more if you get hurt... or hurt yourself." She explained voice quivering slightly. "I don't feel like I can trust you, everyone that I have let in has hurt me. If I let you help me I'm afraid you will leave me." The redhead just looked at you, a new anger rising in her at the thought of someone hurting you. "I won't leave you darling, as long as you don't leave me." The redhead replied. You were about to reply when your eyes rolled back, the world around you turning black.

Falling into the Dean, she caught you softly pulling you to her chest. Gently stroking your hair she carried you back to the castle. Instead of bringing you back to your dorm, she chose to bring you to her's. Upon entering the room she closed the door behind her. She placed you on her bed before taking her jacket off. Moving to sit next to you, she gently caressed your cheek before rolling your sleeve up to reveal a sight that made her heart stop and tear up slightly.

Blood covered your arm from deep cuts embedded in your skin. "Oh my darling girl, why?" The dean made her way to the bathroom, pulling out a first aid kit and a wet cloth before returning to your side. Gingerly taking your arm in her hands, she softly wiped the blood away, being cautious of the cuts. Using the healing magic she knew, she closed most of the cuts causing them to scab over. The others that could not be fully closed, she wrapped in a gauze bandage.

She then changed you into one of her loose sleep shirts and a pair of shorts using her magic, before resting her back against the headboard of the bed, pulling you softly to her chest, a blanket covering the two of you. The events of the day ran freely through her mind, causing the redhead to know exactly where she went wrong. "I hope you know that the pain that my actions have caused you is eating away at me. Seeing you like this torments my thoughts. Don't you worry my sweet girl, for I will stay with you till the end of time."
