She soon pulled away from the right squeeze of a hug then cupped my face. Her tears had dried up whilst mine was still there, pouring out of my eyes like there was no tomorrow. She gently kissed my forehead and pulled me back to her chest. I started calming down then. Am I accepted?

"I'll never know what it'll feel like but know I'm by your side through it all. If you kill people, I will help you cover your tracks."

I smiled and sniffled "I have Mr Jones and Connor's parents to kill."

"Well I know where Mr Jones lives."

"You do?"

She nodded before pulling away from me "He convinced me one school day to go back to his house for dinner so I did. He ended up raping me too," she paused as she squeezed my hand, I moved closer to her as she held my gaze "Luckily I wasn't pregnant but I did get an STI." she admitted.

I couldn't help but pout "It's okay, Claire. I don't see any different in you; no judgement."

She smiled before pulling me into another hug "That day, I also found out I was lesbian," I smiled as I listened to her "I realised I wasn't into sex with a guy, kissing guys or even holding a guy's hand." she admitted.

"I'm lesbian too," I admitted and continued before she could reply "I found out when I was thirteen. At the time, I had a boyfriend. Holding his hand and kissing him just didn't feel right. But every time I looked at a girl, I'd get these electric feelings spreading through my body."

"Well hello fellow lesbian." she joked.

I laughed before looking up at her and smiling, my tears completely dried up.

"I think it's best we aren't a thing due to age gap," she giggled "But it's nice to live with a fellow lesbian."

"Wait, live?!"

"Yeah, I think it's best you stay with me so you have somewhere to live, especially if you do end up being pregnant."

The stupid smile on my face proved all the happiness I could show, obviously before hugging her and thanking her countless times.

"Question," I said before she pulled away and looked at me "Where am I sleeping?"

"Ah, I didn't think about that." Claire replied as she quickly rushed upstairs.

I didn't follow her. I ended up, instead, laying on the sofa and yawning, my heavy eyes slowly closing until I heard her rush back downstairs.

"So I moved the boxes into the smaller room and I've laid out a sleeping bag with a pillow and blanket. If you want, you can take the bed and I'll take the sleeping bag, just until we can get you a bed."

"Your bed is a double bed." I said.

"I know but student and teacher," she paused, raising an eyebrow at me "It's not really a good look."

"It's not like we're having sex with each other." I pointed out.

"I know, but-"

"Please, you need the sleep just as much as I do," I interrupted her "We can separate ourselves with a blanket or something."

"I-" she stopped herself as I gave her a glare.

"It's not fair you sleep on the floor until there's furniture. Just sleep on the bed, separate ourselves with a blanket and wait until there's a bed for me." I pouted.

"Okay fine," she looked at me "Just because you're so caring and stubborn."

I laughed in return.

Soon we got to the bags left by the sofa. She moved the bag full of food to the kitchen whilst I rummaged through my new set of clothes to see what she got me.

She soon came back in and grabbed some of the clothing items to show me them. I haven't owned a lot of clothes in six years. I've only ever had my uniform and some rags. The materials on some of the items felt so comfortable to touch and I couldn't help but smile knowing they're mine.

She put them all back in the bag then shoved the bag in my face "They're all yours, hun, there are some PJs in there too, not many options as this is all just a starter. But I hope it's enough to hold out for a bi-"

I hugged her tightly with the one hand I had free. She hugged back. We hugged for quite a while before pulling away and heading upstairs.

"How long does it take for us to know I'm pregnant?" I asked.

"Around ten days. Which is why I suggest you stay, and just stay anyway seeing as you've been homeless for six years." she pouted.

"That makes sense. I won't go, I'm just nervous about the test."

"It's okay, hun. I'll make sure the test doesn't get any dust, that the atmosphere is nice and clean for a proper result."

"Okay." I responded.

"Now I think it's best you head to bed. Your main bag is still downstairs but I can get that for you."

"I think I should, I feel exhausted." I yawned right after speaking.

She smiled before leading me to her, or more our, bedroom. She grabbed some PJs from her wardrobe and left the room so I could get dressed in peace. So I rummaged through the bag once more I found a long, silk-feeling white top with some white and pink striped shorts. The top was oversized. The shorts fit my waists but were pretty baggy against my thighs. But I didn't care.

Soon there was a knock on the door. It was Claire asking if she could come in. I agreed to and she opened the door. She was wearing matching pyjamas that looked exactly like she came from The Boy in Striped Pyjamas but they looked silky.

She closed the door behind her and slowly walked over to the bed. She had grabbed a blanket from another room. It was long enough to reach the end of the bed from the pillows. The blanket itself was a plain teal and was so soft to touch. So we picked our sides, said our goodnights and fell asleep.
