The radio fell silent after that.

"Oh shit, let's go!" River commanded as we both turned 180 degrees and ran straight ahead of us towards Alex and Ivy.

We ran for five minutes straight until we found them. Alex was cowering behind a tree whilst Ivy was under attack. It was Mr Jones alright. He had a hacksaw and was using it on Ivy. She was sat on her ass and her legs stretched out, looking up at him as he used the hacksaw on her shoulder; dangerously close to her neck. Her screams pierced through my ears.

River was stood paralysed at the sight so I had no choice but to intervene. I ran over and threw a burning punch to the left side of his face. The burn left behind stretched from his eye to his chin.

At the intensity, he dropped the bloody hacksaw into the green grass and Ivy stood as fast as she could before running over to River, who was still paralysed at the sight.

"It's me who you want!" I screamed at him as I heard more footsteps behind me; James and Hank just showed up.

"Oh," he laughed "Ruby Flame. I could recognise that voice of yours. You're so grown up. Five years really goes by, doesn't it? How was the pregnancy?"

I could hear gasps from everyone behind me. I rolled my eyes and ignored the smirk on his face.

"That's none of your fucking business." I replied with bitterness in my tone.

"Oh but it is, Ruby, I'm still the father."

More gasps were heard in the crowd.

"You don't need to know a fucking thing. All you are is a rapist and kiddy fiddler. It's all you ever are." I replied bitterly.

"But, Ruby, the child is still mine. And when I finish my sentence, I can ask for custody of the child."

"Yeah well you won't fucking get it." I spat, the audacity he had to even think he could take Phoenix from me.

"Well then," he paused as he groaned from bending over and picking up the bloody hacksaw "It's that or I take your life." he laughed.

"You're a wrinkly old man that can't bend over without whining because of back pain. Go ahead, try to kill me." I smirked.

Suddenly, his body chanted from a human's to a hairy werewolf. The wolf ran over to try and bite me, I moved to the side like he was a bull and slashed him with the sword I was given "Olé!" I laughed.

The werewolf turned his head to face me. I looked at his eye as he stared into mine.

Everyone had backed further away, except River who was still paralysed by the sight. She really hasn't seen anything like this in her life.

The wolf barked as he charged at me again. I grabbed the sword with both hands as it was lit with flames. I dodged the wolf's petty attempt as I slashed his back with the burning sword "Olé!" I repeated.

The burn on his back stretched from the bottom of his neck to his upper tail. I got him good with that. It looks like third-degree burn too.

The wolf cried out and falling to his side. I stayed in my position; I didn't move any closer or further away, the flaming sword leaning on my shoulder as I stand proudly.

The wolf slowly stood back to his legs before howling.

Suddenly, at least ten more werewolves surrounded us. I gulped at the sight. They all ignored our little audience, even though they were unaware of River's capabilities. Hopefully she'll break the paralysis soon. I may need her help.

As Fredrick the wolf started charging towards me, so did all the other wolves.

I closed my eyes and focused. River mentioned earlier the different things she could do with her powers. So what if I can do things like that?

Before I knew it, I was levitating above the hungry looking wolves. I opened my eyes and looked down on them to find myself wearing a dress made of fire, my skin was only flames, I had fiery wings attached on my back and my hair was blood red. I could feel my eyes burning with rage and I felt I was stronger. The fiery dress had a train that reached down to the wolves but every time they tried to bite it, it would burn their mouths. And now I had my own fiery sword; the given sword and knife was nowhere to be seen.

More gasps were heard once again but were all too scared to speak up so with one swing of my pure fire sword, I devoured all the wolves. Except Fredrick.

He turned human and my feet could once again feel the ground. My hair and train of the dress was flowing behind me like there was a gust of wind, but there wasn't. I held my sword to his neck.

I realised his hacksaw was no longer in his hand; he must've lost it when he changed into a werewolf.

He gulped loudly as he realised he messed with the wrong supernatural.

Before anyone knew it, his body was on the bloody grass floor; lifeless and headless. I cut his head clean off with my fiery sword.

I turned to face everyone as my bare feet stepped through all the blood and over to them. I kept a fair distance as they did too. I was much taller like this; around 7'0. Everyone was stunned, paralysed and petrified.

I looked down at everyone to see their expressions, then realising that Ivy was still gushing blood from her shoulder "Come here, Ivy." my voice echoed and boomed, making the trees around us sway.

Ivy slowly walked over, her blood covered hand over her gushing wound. I dropped to my knees so I was less intimidating as she made her way to me. I gently grabbed her blood covered hand and moved it away, my fiery skin not burning Ivy at all. My right arm then turned to blue within seconds and my hand gently pressed down on her wound, healing it and giving her the blood she lost.

After a matter of seconds, I moved my blue flamed hand away to find her wound had healed like it never happened.

Once everyone realised I was safe, they all came closer to me.

"Ruby, you're the fire goddess." River pointed out.

I then decided to shrink and turn back to normal, it's like I hadn't changed at all. I got up from my knees and looked at everyone. They were all shocked, except River, at the new discovery.

"Ruby," I looked over at River who was standing to my left "Fire was coming out of your eyes. That is the biggest sign known that you're a goddess." she shrieked.

My eyes widened, I'm really the fire goddess.

She hugged me tightly. I hugged her back, pressing my face into her shoulder.

"Sorry to ruin the mood," Hank ruined the mood as I and River pulled away from each other and looked at him "I'm going to call the police and tell them we have him dead." he walked a little away and grabbed his phone.

"Wait," River called out to him, he looked back at us "You didn't put your phone in the box?" she asked him.

He just shook his head with a smile and walked off to call the police.

"Well I guess it's good you did." River giggled as she pulled me back into a hug. I laughed at her joke too as she wasn't exactly wrong.

The other three walked over and told me how they shocked were at my new title. I won't lie, I was shocked too.
