After we all ate a slice of cake each, we then played Phoenix's favourite board game; Cluedo. Somehow she understood the game but I wasn't going to question it. It may teach her a thing or two about possible weapons she could use if it came down to it.

The game took up almost the rest of the time we had left. Phoenix ended up winning, she was really good at the game.

It was ten minutes until noon so Claire packed the game up whilst myself and Phoenix hugged and gave each other goodbye kisses.

I promised her I'd be back tonight, whether she's already in bed or waiting for me.

After giving her hugs and kisses, I stood up straight to hug Claire. She kissed my cheek before letting me go.

They shouted their goodbyes to me as I closed the front door.

Thinking to myself if this is actually a good idea or not. Of course it's a good idea.

Luckily I can remember where they live, it's been over a decade and I can still remember.

I make my way to the other side of town. It took around an hour as I wanted to give them a little bit more time to live before killing them.

Finally, I found the house. The house was one that was connected to other homes. It was in between two and there was one more connected to the left side. Their door stood out from the other four. The three doors were black, white and brown. Their door was bright blue.

I take a deep breath before walking up to their door and knocking as loudly as I could.

The door opens within a second after a knock. A woman in her fifties or sixties answers the door "Ruby?!" she questions, her loud voice brings an old gentleman over; her husband.

"Mr and Mrs Kry," I start "I just wanted to pay a visit." I smirk.

They both sighed loudly "Well can you not sound so sarcastic?" the woman asked.

"And not now," the man said "Our daughter's coming over soon."

"Oh," I pause in complete shock "Your daughter? You missed your son that much, you needed another child to replace him? Your child just happened to be a girl." I giggled.

"You're not funny." Mrs Kry screeches.

"I think I'm quite funny."

"Well you're not. You're still at fault for Connor's death." Mr Kry confidently says as he raised his voice at me.

"Does your daughter know she had an older brother?"

They both don't answer. In fact, Mrs Kry looked at the inside of the door, in which was white. And Mr Kry looked at the frame of the door. Both completely breaking eye contact.

"Oh," I hold that on before continuing "She doesn't know. Oh that just makes you horrible parents. You had another child to replace Connor." I raised my voice.

"Can you not talk so loud? She'll be here any minute and she'll hear you." the woman pleads.

"That's a bad thing? She deserves to know she's a replacement because you couldn't live without your son. The worst part is she has no idea she's a replacement." I tell them sternly.

"Why don't you come inside?" Mrs Kry asks, sounding nervous and almost regretful.

"Lead the way." I said.

They both step backwards. Mr Kry heads to the living room which was straight down their cream coloured hallway. Mrs Kry steps aside towards the stairs so I could walk in. I walk towards the living room, hearing the door close then footsteps behind me. I had my wits about me.

Mr Kry was sat on one of the two sofas. I sat on the other and Mrs Kry sat beside her husband.

"So explain." I command as I get comfortable on their grey sofa.

"Nothing to explain," the old man croaked "She doesn't need to know she has a deceased brother."

"Oh really, Neal?" I reply back.

"Listen, Ruby, it's none of your business so there's nothing we need to explain." Mrs Kry defends her husband's reply.

"But, Ami," I started "Your daughter deserves to know. What if I know her?"

"You have no friends, you won't know her." Neal replied sharply.

"Who is she then? If I don't know her then give me her name."

"That's none of your business."

"Knowing your child's name? For your old ages, isn't she an adult?" I questioned.

"I find that offensive." Ami replied in disgust.

"Oh," I call out dramatically as I put my hand over my heart and close my eyes tightly "I deeply apologise. I'm wounded." I return to my original position; sat straight with my hands held together against my stomach.

"You're pushing your luck."

"Oh I am?"

"Yes," Neal replied "Our daughter will kill you with no hesitation."

"On your command?" I answered.

They both just stared at me. They thought I'd forget how they used to try and control Connor.

"Hmm, I thought so." I snapped a quick reply.

"You know nothing." Ami said, her old voice cracking multiple times.

"No? Did you think I forgot how you used to treat Connor? You made him your slave. Why do you think he was always out with me? Why do you think we made you and my deceased parents pay so many fines? Because he needed an escape and a way to let out his built up emotions; anger and sadness," I paused as I could feel tears forming "He was your slave. When he was trapped at home, he'd complete all the house chores. If they weren't completed under a certain amount of time or up to your high standards, you punished him. I saw the cuts and bruises on him and I'll never forget the huge bruise that took up his whole back," a tear escaped my eye "So I suggest you tread carefully." I finished as my voice started to break.

Ami sat back, but Neal didn't cower "Tread carefully? Why? You wouldn't kill us. Two old people; powerless and hopeless. That's just heartless." he said.

"Heartless?" I questioned.

"He's right. You choose to spend your time scaring old people."

"Only you two, because neither of you deserve to live." I get up and walk closer to the sofa they were both sat on.

Ami grabbed Neal's shoulder and hides her face using his frail arm. Neal, though, didn't seem shaken or fazed at all. Little did he know I'm the fire goddess.
