SMG4's vision slowly began to clear, as he groggily began to gain his bearings. He found himself in what appeared to be some kind of surgical room. His arms and legs were cuffed down to a hospital bed.

"Argh... What the? What is this place?" he managed to mumble out.

"Currently, a surgical room," Infinite's voice suddenly rang out beside him.

Turning his head, SMG4 looked to see the OCA's leader standing by his bedside, a cup of tea in hand, and wearing his hat.

"You! What did you do to my friends?!" SMG4 asked furiously, as he struggled against his cuffs.

"No need to worry, they're all in perfect health," the OC assured him, "Please, no need to waste your energy. You'll find your restraints rather difficult to break."

Glitchy didn't let up though, continuing to struggle against them. Keeping his head raised, he asked:

"Why did you do this? We literally gave you the chance to not need to fight us on a silver platter," SMG4 pointed out, "We could've had you guys all on the cast, no problem!"

"Ah, right," Infinite responded, "As if that was the goal all along. You see, SMG4, unlike most of your so-called 'cast', my desires are not so simplistic. You wield immeasurable power in your hands, and yet, you do nothing with it. Instead, you decide to occupy yourself with the most idiotic things imaginable like competing in idiotic challenges with your friends."

"So you want to take over the world with my powers?"

"Of course not. That's a stupid goal to begin with. No. What I seek is security. To make sure that if anything bad happens, this world's meme guardians and avatar won't be some brain dead morons who will put anything at risk. The only way one can truly achieve that is control."

Just then, a robot medic rolled in, carrying some kind of odd looking helmet.

"At first, I simply believed killing you would do the trick. However, after looking through and more of your lore, I understood that... I need a more, assertive approach, if you will," Infinite told him, as the robot raised the helmet over SMG4's head.

"Don't worry about anything. It'll just feel like falling asleep," the OC said, grinning as the helmet was placed on SMG4's head, as the Youtuber struggled to not let it get fully on.

"NO!" he let out, just as the helm had completely descended onto his head. SMG4's eyes closed, as his head fell back for a second. Then, then, a green light bulb on the helmet suddenly came on, as the Youtuber's eyes opened, emotionless and blank.

Infinite smirked, as he finished his cup of tea.

"Good, that's the last of them. Tell E. Gadd to get on with testing the upgraded edition," he ordered.

Meanwhile

Twas another day in the Mushroom Kingdom. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and... Huh... No one's interrupting me. Well uh... I should be happy... It doesn't feel right though.

Aeris' eyes jolted open, as he fell off his bed in his flat back at Bob's hotel.

"AH!" he let out, falling to the ground with a thud. Grabbing his splattershot from the floor, he stood up and waved it around. However, to his surprise, no one was there, except for a Lakitu watching from the window.

"Damn stoners," the flying turtle said to itself, before flying off.

Aeris breathed out, looking around, confused.

"Was it all a dream? Did that... Come on Aeris, it probably wasn't real..." he muttered to himself.

Trying to wake himself up, he hurried over to make himself some coffee, having not noticed something lying on his nightstand that wasn't there before. Grabbing his drink, he turned on the TV. He began to drink up, as he listened to whatever the news had to say that day-
