Dean sighed happily, as he sat on the couch beside Randy, drinking their beers, while they talked, Seth and Roman were in the kitchen getting them all some snacks for their movie. Dean felt so free, he had passed one exam and knew that he would do the same to the other three after he got through studying his ass off with his boys. It felt incredible to not have the fear of failure weighing him down anymore, he no longer doubted himself and it was freaking awesome. Finally, everything was going his way for once, including being done with Kincaid and Cena's bullshit, that crap was tiring. Life was good and it was only going to get better from here.
Seth and Roman returned to the living room with two trays of food, they set the trays down on the coffee table, before they sat back down on the couch. Seth cuddled into Dean, who smiled, as he kissed Seth's head and continued his conversation with Randy. Dean couldn't believe how right everything felt right now in this moment and he never wanted it to end.
"So, are you guys ready to watch the movie?" Seth asked, smiling.
"Seth, do we really have to watch this, dude?" Roman asked, whining, as Randy and Dean agreed.
"Nope, no complaining, Reigns." Seth said firmly, as he sat up and pointed at Roman. "You three had the chance to pick, I offered and you all turned it down. Since none of you wanted to pick, I did, so we're watching this." He added smugly.
"In our defense, Rollins, we said no before we knew that we'd be forced to watch...this." Dean pointed out, annoyed. "If we had known that then one of us would have picked."
"Too bad, boys, next time don't leave the choice up to me then. For now, sit back, boys, and enjoy your..." Seth began, smiling, but was cut off by Dean's phone going off, signaling that he had a new text. "Seriously, babe?"
"Saved by the text." Dean said smiling, as Seth gave him an annoyed look. "Hey, it's not my fault." He added, as he held up his hands in his defense. "It's probably just my dad." He said, as he began looking in his pockets for his phone, but couldn't find it anywhere. "Shit, did you guys see where I left my damn phone?"
"It's on the kitchen counter, you left it there when you talked to your dad, remember?" Seth said, sighing.
"Right, thanks, Baby Boy, what would I do without you?" Dean said smiling, as he kissed him.
"Oh, suffer terribly, lose everything, not find anything, fall apart, stay..."
"Alright, Rollins, damn, all you had to say is that I'd never survive." Dean said smiling, cutting Seth off, as they all laughed.
"Oh, yeah, that too." Seth replied smiling, as Dean got up and went into the kitchen, his brother's laughter following him.
Still smiling, he looked around on the counter for his phone, not seeing it anywhere, he was about to call Seth to come help him, when he saw it under the dish towel. Shaking his head, he smiled, and picked it up, he checked the message and his smile disappeared as he saw it was from Cena. What the hell was that walking pile of dog shit doing texting him? Knowing that he couldn't read it in front of his brothers, he quickly put his phone back into his pocket, and wearing a fake smile, he returned to the living room.
"Yeah, it was my dad, he congratulated me again on passing my exam." Dean lied.
"Seriously? Damn, dude, that's like the 10th time." Randy said smiling.
"11th, actually, but who's counting?" Dean replied smiling, making all of them laugh.
"Alright, are you ready to watch the movie now, babe?" Seth asked.
"Uh, I just have to go to the bathroom first, you guys start it though." Dean answered.
"You sure, babe?" Seth asked, Dean nodded.
