The sun began to set, painting the sky a dusky orange as it cast its light through the hotel room windows. Inside the room, Dean stood in the middle of the floor, arms crossed and eyes moving between Roman and Seth who sat together on the couch in silence. Minutes before the room had been filled with their laughter and happiness yet now it was filled with tension and silence.

Dean had just finished telling Roman and Seth everything that happened since they were sent back to Earth. He watched them expectantly for any kind of reaction, frustration rose in him when neither moved or spoke. He was so confused by their lack of reaction. How could they not be happy? This was what they had all wanted, dammit, so why then was he the only one happy about it?

He let out a deep, frustrated sigh and rubbed his hands over his face. He tried to read their expressions, but they just stared back at him with concern in their eyes, knowing them both so damn well, he knew that their silence spoke more than words ever could. They were worried about something and neither wanted to be the first to tell him what it was. Did they no longer want him here? Had he made the wrong choice coming back to them as their Angel? Anger grew inside of him and he clenched his jaw to stop himself from yelling. Fine, dammit, if they didn't want him anymore then he'd go back to Heaven and assign them another damn Angel.

"This wasn't the reaction I was expecting to get." Dean said bitterly. "If you don't want me as your Angel, I can just..."

"No, we want you." Roman said quickly, cutting him off.

"Of course, we do, Dean." Seth added firmly.

"You could have fooled me." Dean replied bitterly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Seth asked.

"We didn't say anything." Roman added confused.

"Exactly!" Dean said upset. "Neither of you said a damn thing, your silence said it for you."

"D, it's not that." Roman said sighing. "We love you and we're so happy to have you back as our Angel, watching over us."

"But?" Dean pushed knowing there was more.

"But, we're worried." Seth answered sighing too.

"Worried?" Dean repeated confused. "About what?"

"Dean, being Head of Guardian Angels is a huge responsibility that'll take up a lot of your time and focus." Roman explained.

 "Yeah." Dean agreed.

"And being our Guardian Angel is also a huge responsibility that'll take up a lot of your time and focus." Seth added.

 "Right."

 "So, we're worried that..."

"You're worried that I won't be able to handle it, aren't you?" Dean said angrily as he cut Roman off. "Damn, thanks, guys, for the damn confidence and support."

"Dean, you know we support you unconditionally." Seth said.

"Yeah, you just don't have confidence in me." Dean said bitterly.

 "Dean, we..."

"No, that's awesome, thanks, guys." Dean said upset, cutting Seth off. "I have shit to do, just... just call me if you need me, I'll try not to fuck anything up."

"Dean, wait!" Roman said but Dean ignored him and left. "Dammit, Ambrose."

"Holy shit, we just fucked up." Seth said sighing as he ran his hands over his face.

"He didn't even give us a chance to explain, dammit." Roman said sighing.

"What do we do now?" Seth asked.
